She's a martial artist. Her strikes will be to vital areas, pressure points. This will be just as effective as Superman striking her in non vital areas. She's more skilled and just as fast in combat so she can hit him more times than he hits her, especially with him beginning the fight holding back a lot.
Superman throws a punch, Diana parries and counters with a strike to a vital area. Superman is momentarily stunned. She either follows with other vital attacks or just lasso him. Imo she's the best one on one Herald there is. Her defense, skill, speed, strength combination is better than any other Herald.

WW is fighting to the best of her ability here.
She has here ftl reflexes on, her speed, and her skill, and her smarts. Superman is also, but he starts the fighting holding back his true potential.
I showed one of the few fights they had that didn't have extenuating circumstances counters all your arguments. And if you're going to argue "to the best of her ability" that applies to Superman too, and she can't hope to match Superman's speed feats.
