In Superman/Batman Bruce actually takes several punches from Darkseid. He has a motherbox on him to heal the wounds afterwards, but I don't think it had anything to do with him surviving initially.

She struggled to NOT hurt her friend. She could have decapitated him at the very start of their fight if she wanted to.
