Still, he didnt create any constructs (the staple for all GL's), and the complete cellular change should be prove that he CAN do it, even if he didnt. I still think it was telekinisis though 😬
To be honest a GL ring is tantamount to having, in essence, every single power one can think of apart from magic (and if you take one description of magic as being that which cannot be explained by science, then even that is somewhat covered). A GL ring is EASILY a better choice than Kryptonian powers. For that matter, you can use a GL ring to either a) replicate Kryptonian powers (e.g. speed, heat and cold projection, strength, flight, super-sensitivity etc), or b) GIVE yourself actual Kryptonian powers by simply telling the ring to do so.
There is a reason the GL ring is said to be the most potent weapon in the universe (it is just that most writers, just like the folk who write for Thor and make Mjolnir into a simple tool when it has powers beyond belief, usually write/draw GLs as simply shooting forth green-hued blasts and getting knocked for a loop by characters who shouldn't even be able to mess with a rookie GL. But i digress).
Suffice it to say, if a person can use the ring with sufficient efficacy, then a GL ring would be the better choice.

If you wanted to make the thread 'weighted' then you should have said so in your first post (since you made the thread) that the ring would only come with enough charge for a week, after which it becomes gaudy green-colored jewelry, while Superman's powers will last for 'life.'
Although with that said, I would still choose the ring for the week. During that week I would make enough physiological at a genetic level (and other) changes that even when the ring runs out I still have more abilities than the average Kryptonian.
The ring is still the better choice.
1 day with the GL ring is worth more to me than a million years with Supermans often ridiculous and defnaltey useless powers in this world
why would i care about flying to some unkown planet and picking it up and throwing it, his powers seem to me so physical and boring, it would be pointless in this world
also, the effects of the ring, they do not disapear do they? if i enhanced myself, when the ring runs out, i just wouldnt be able to reverse it or enhance any more?

well, technically its not like GLs *have to* create any constructs; doing so is simply an easy way to get a job done.
and its not like I disagree w/ya in that it *should be* possible, but I just wanted ya to realize that trying to use that as proof would be a huge mistake.

and for the record the only reason theres 7200 of them is (in story) to show the various denizens of the universe that the Oans are back in business, not that the extra 3600 are *needed*.
