That's good and fine. I have been talking to JIA in another thread. But you talked to me about a different topic, so I don't see why you should apply Christian ideology to my posts nor why you should ignore when I state my meaning absolutely specific.

You told me once that you are a Christian. 😕

Doubtful.

Well, what are you then?

OK, then answer the question you asked me. What is the ultimate "why"?

I didn't ask you that question, did I?

An ultimate why would need some kind of scale of whys. I don't think such a thing exists. I believe there are a few rather fundamental whys which might or might not be possible to answer in a causal or metaphysical way. So, to answer your question, I do not know of an "ultimate way" and I doubt it exists.

No, you asked "How did we get here". To me "How did we get here" is just another way of asking the ultimate question of why.

If there is no answer to the "ultimate way", then witch is better, A: God or B: because?

God. It would give some sort of answer, though that would raise new questions and would not be supported by evidence.

That is fine, but I choose, because. But remember there is no real answer to the question. So, we are both equally right and wrong.

It's not a matter of choosing though.

God is an answer

Because isn't. Because is the equivalent of dancing two minutes on the spot after being asked the question.

You choose to prefer not to ask the question or think of an answer. That is okay. I do too. You can't logically choose to prefer "Because" as an answer, as it isn't one.

I appologise to Bardock on this thread as well.

Thanks. You don't have to apologize everywhere though. It's quite alright.

God was only watching. Nothing more and nothing less.

Why, then, would a good and loving God allow such a tragedy to happen?

He didn't "allow" it to happen. It happened because we (man) exercised the greatest gift of all from God..........free will.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. 😉

Maybe you have a problem with the word "because" do to the fact that some people use it as a way of dodging. That is not my intent. I'm trying to describe a circle.

why would god have an opinion anyway?
