I honestly don't understand how people can claim DS wins when even after he regained his Omega Powers he was beaten into submission by Superman. Just doesn't make sense.

How about cause most of that story contradicts existing canon and is loaded with inconsistencies? Like Batman picking up the staff, causing DS to bleed, Supes doing less damage and being alive in the source, or everyone in the story wearing gloves to protect them from the Staff's power except for Batman? And yes, I pointed out the staff thing twice. That alone is a huge ****up.
