You don't get a goldstar. You get a silver star.
well if you dont understand it...chances are you never will
but i'll try my best
tons of debri from the plane exited the building from the opposite side from where it entered...including bodies...
they did so because they were inside the plane and the plane was travelling at closee to 400mph when it hit the building
the momentum of the plane and thus all the objects in the plane are sufficient enough to carry lots of object out of the fire area...
the plane also took alot of paper from the building with it...this stuff had no momentum...was not travelling at 400mph...it was stationary (no pun intended) and still managed to clear the explosion and survive the collapse
not only that...even if very delicate objects are in a fire zone they can be protected...i've seen examples myself while assisting a lecturer of mine who also runs a company that investigates fires...i have personally recovered photographs from fire scenes where by something has fell on top of the photo and protected it from the fire...and even after several hours of burning they have survived fire damage despite being in the most intensely burning area of the fire
infact fire investigation involves using partially damaged object and objects protected from fires to determine what happened and in what order
a simple example of this is if a house has been set fire to by throwing a bottle of flammable liquid through a window...the simple way to determine if this was the case is that any glass on the floor of the room where the fire started would have no soot deposit on the side in contact with the floor and thus the window was broken before the fire started...if it has soot on both sides of the window then the fire burned before the window was broken...now if the window was broken before the fire and the window piece fell onto a piece of paper...the paper underneath would also be protected from the fire...despite being in the room where the seat of the fire was (and hence the longest burning time)
quite simple really
so either the passport could have had momentum enough to clear the fire...or some piece of rubble from the impact had fallen on top of it and protected it from the fire
