Odin pulled out a weapon he doesnt use all the time because he wasnt putting Thanos down on his own and was pulling out all the stops.

Although it doesn't say fully fed, it says WELL fed. Saying he was fed was not enough. The writer clearly states WELL fed. Obviously trying to make a point.
If you still fail to see this then, it is still his most fed state on panel to date.
And that is why that was an impressive feat for thanos.

I've looked over the fight several times and have yet to find anything suggesting Thanos used his gun because he knew he couldn't put Thor down. He used it because he got tired of the fight. He states it twice.

Because he would be. They knew he had the power gem, but that doesn't mean Thanos knew while they were fighting. Remember, Pip teleported Thor right to Thanos' lair, and they started battling. There was no talking beforehand.
Prove to me that he knew he couldn't put him down. Show me one shred of evidence of Thanos saying or even thinking that.

Look at what I wrote again. I have wrote it a few times and you seem to miss the point.
In that arc that Thanos blasted Big G, he is shown at his most powerful form ever on panel(99.9% of the time). If you know of another time he has been as powerful or more powerful and a character harming him then post it.

There was a planet in front of him that he could have ate but he had no intention of eating it. why? because he was WELL fed.
