Gundam has lost all chances to move on mathematically. In our pool, the first place is most certainly would be decided between B-Dub and Leo. So far it's like-
B-Dub 7
Leo-6
Me-4
Gundam- 0
If we win that, the situation can get interesting with both B-Dub and Leo having 8 points. In that case, I think, Leo will advance to the finals.
Ok then guys I'm putting B-dub's match on temporary hold until we get the legality of the Cube taken care of.
I am giving both sides the rest of the day to make their cases. Judges. and I mean all Judges for all matches will cast a vote on it.
So excluding myself that will be five Judges cause I won't vote on it that way there can be no tie..
tomorrow it goes back into action at 7:00 EST.

As for the Cubes: Leo posted in the other thread about how we should have objected to ultimate reed, and we had ample time to do so. To me it was never about objecting Reed, but objecting that specific action. Affecting an omniverse (like akuki tried) to affecting a 15 foot radius (like I wanted with Freedom Ring), DOES NOT MATTER, meaning the distance that you can warp reality does not matter. Red simply said reality warping was banned: period, not even post meshing. By stating they could "wish" me to lose, thus having the win (according to them, because my attack wins out, Ill explain in the actual thread) that is reality warping at its core. Therefore illegal. Easy as pie
Also, I dont have all the time in the word to delay NJ. Im going to go ahead and post on all the information Leo gave as if the Cubes were in play. If they are decided to be illegal, yippie for me, but I leave to Spain in a few days and I'm not going to be on a computer while Im preparing as much as if I wasnt preparing.

2) no, the cubes aren't illegal but reality warping is. the general definition to reality warping seems to be the creation of matter or energy from nothing and matter/energy manipulation on a wide scale just using one's will alone.
ie. silver surfer can fix the planet after extreme devastation one area at a time, that is legal, but mad jim jaspers can just will it whole again, not legal at all.

it BY NO MEANS takes anything like reality warping to win, and, MORE IMPORTANTLY, i NEVER SUGGESTED the attack would entail reality warping. the cube could simply bfr them to another dimension (perfectly legal) or command them mentally (also perfectly legal), or use simple matter manipulation and turn them all into stone (perfectly legal).
so, before it is rendered illegal, could someone PLEASE show me where exactly i said i WAS using reality warping of any kind . . .?

Well, personally, I'm opposed to the "wishing" a win. Even if it's not accomplished via direct reality warping it's still an OHKO, which is specifically banned per the rules (the few rules that were actually fleshed out):
8. Matter manipulation is allowed, as well as possession, and BFR punching, so long as it does not result in OHKO. No OHKO’s.
By interpretation of this rule the proposed use of the Cube by Leo (wishing for a win) would get the gasface (One Hit Kill/Knock Out). The cube may be banned outright for being indefensible, thus being an OHKO implement, even if you wished to use it in 2 moves; I'm assuming we're operating on a "no loopholes" clause.
I'm also opposed to B-Dub's precog prep spying and would have that banned and discarded as well.
I also think the directors (Red and Newjak) need to be more proactive in the definition of these rules. No one likes losing on a technicality that should have been addressed before combat began, and I certainly don't want to determine the outcome of one of the pools on one. At least establish some precedent to work from.

Logged on for a second, but I can answer this:
Red allowed it, I specifically asked before I ever used it, plus you wouldnt get it since it is a mental rapport between Brainy and Dream girl. Not something naturally copiable like "powers" or "brains".
Also, I know things seem vague, but most rules are discused over MSN. Dont shoot me, I'm just the messenger letting you know. I know it sucks and alot of the times you guys should be clued in, but alot of the time it has to do with private ideas, which is why I liken it to if I was PMing the director for my ideas. Same thing, just faster.
Ill get back to the actual debate now Leo when I get the chance 😛
As someone who did a fair amount of research on the cubes for evangel's crapfest, this is all a bit shocking to me. The cube that Ultimate Reed creates manipulates energy in its various forms, according to Reed's own words. Hell, I could post the scan. Where does it alter reality?
