For me, it wasn't that he could or couldn't avoid it (which he could); I was really just surprised he didn't just port himself out given his Speed Force abilities and tech based teleportation. Leo could have just teleported himself out of the basement in the split picosecond he’d arrived, before the power drain emitter there had any effect on himself or his teammates, but he never stated he would and pretty much just relied on the vibranium emitters and nullifiers his team was using as a method of attack. That seemed like the apparent counter.
the entire chamber was loaded with my tech that was blasting forge's neutralizer as soon as they entered the room. but you guys said they would be able to find me at microscopic size and teleport all of us into that room before the neutralizer had any effect. add to that the fact they were capped at sub-lightspeed . . . and i was very confused by that unanimous decision.
doesn't matter now, but i was confused at the time. dropping the past matches though, judges are now allowed to vote on the current match (our guys v bw's team) right . . .?

I remember that. If I remember correctly, B-Dub had also set up an instantaneous auto-teleport to the basement plan with his characters (Amazo & Spartan) so that anything non friendly that was in the proximity was teleported to the basement at the onset of battle.

nah. wrong match, methinks. there was no auto-teleport set up -- he did that in a different match.
like i said, it doesn't matter. i was confused is all. ith luck, this match will end differently.

Actually, that was the same match. I pride myself on being thorough. It was the match with the superhuman prison/nullifier. During prep he set Amazo and Spartan to teleport anything that wasn't friendly into the basement:

And also his only move in the match was to instantly teleport you and your equipment into the basement at the onset of battle using Void's powers.

Now if the watch had given you the power of flight no it wouldn't have.
Essentially it neutralized anything that could be considered above human powers. Anything this includes spells, tech, and actual powers, etc, etc.
So anything like a watch would still work. Guns wouldn't though, but obviously you could still use a club or other melee weapon like that.
