Oh ya, China is pretty much set up as the next super-power. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a collapse, but failing that, they are the next biggest dude on the block.

I'm hoping they will crash, but I doubt it... It's pretty unlikely.

The water supply in the vast Northern parts of China is already sinking at an alarming rate, forecasting drought in the next decade. Some lakes are so polluted that they have turned green from algae buildup.
They are going to crash long before their environmental impact affects us in any way.

We ARE a lesser nation for thinking we need to be a "greater" nation in some sort of imperialistic, or at best competitive, sense.
Besides, it would get to f-ing bullseye off our heads (maybe...since we've pissed off plenty of people).
