Shouldn't DD be able to handle Apollo without too much trouble? You know more about Apollo than I do, but I didn't think he was quite on Superman's level.

Presuming this kid is dreaming DC into the world by borrowing dreams from DC Earth, it can't be assumed that this is actually DD, but is more likely the boy's representation of him. Whether or not it's a good fight probably won't matter in terms of actual power levels.

That said, it would depend on the version of DD. DOS DD would be a good matchup for Apollo, but DD should still take the majority. Decent fight though.

Since both deaths are DC deaths (and obviously can't hold up), this boy seems to be from WS Earth, and Doctor is having a very-much-canon conversation with him (or so it seems right now), my assumption is that it's most certainly not canon for DC....it's probably not them at all, but dreaming representations of them. Though it may canon be for WS, because it seems Chimera isn't dreaming them into existence like he is for DC.

again it could just be DC heroes sucked from an Alternate world. not mainstream DC. heroes from that alti DC earths timeline pulled out to do as he says. he looks into an alternate DC earth, likes what he sees and finds a way to pull them threw. he did say 'i brought them'.

"real dads dont make you do stuff like that" okay.. maybe this kid was made to do some nasty stuff and thats why superman was watching over him while he slept saying "never again" kids damaged.

Apollo shouldnt be able to really take DD alone, looking forward to him trying. more so with midnighter im sure hes gonna put up one hell of a fight.

why hasnt Majestic recognized superman? havent they met before?

While it may be an alternate world (though doubtful), we've already established that it is Chimera using the dream-book to manifest them. So I find it far more likely that they are his creations, not actual characters from an alternate world. They're based on the alternate world, but not actually them.

interstingly they have been owning as if they were the real deal tho....i personally believe that it is them.. and everyone will get a mind wipe at the end...as far as apollo DD should definitle own him cuz he relies more heavily on solar energy that superman does... this is the guy that was powerless when they chained him in a dark room...so bing bang beng and he's down FTC

true, i think the Apollo/DD fight should at least be during the day time. not night as it seems to be. abit unfair and sort of leads you to think this will end up being more of a teamup VS DD. be it superman + apollo, or even majestic if not all three for a quick fix.

might be the real deal but it will take more than a mind wipe to being back the bat. 😂 i would side with them simply being heroes brought to life from a dream book but they are way to much like the originals. even if the kid read the dream book like we do the comics he couldn't have gotten them all so correct. plus its harder to believe he could lose control of them so easily if they are simply copies made for his use.

After Seth beat him. They didn't just lock him in a room. Apollo's fought indoors plenty of times.

And if all he's doing is manifesting the dreams, then the dreams themselves that he's using will retain characteristics of the originals.

Lulz at the Joker/Midnighter confrontation ..

Brainy's comments, paired with Superman's inability to remember DD, seemed to confirm my theory: that the DC characters aren't real, they're only constructs, but the WS ones are. The fact that Doctor is able to transcend the madness to find out what is actually going on corroborates this, as does the DC-only deaths (since they couldn't really kill established characters otherwise).

So it's canon for WS characters, but since it isn't for DC we can't really accurately gauge the WS people based off of them. Because even if the kid got the power levels roughly correct, we have no way of knowing for sure.

Not really a theory since Majestic flat out says it. 😛

Yep, but Digi anticipated that before Maj said anything. His theory was right.

Screw you and screw Digi.

Lulz.

But yes, Majestic's comments confirm it as well. The only question remains where, if at all, it fits into WS continuity. It's still possible for them to erase all of this in the final issue as though it never happened, but that would seem like a cop-out from a story perspective.
