Yes this tournament turned out to be a bit of a joke. Poor managment might have something to do with that.

I'll admit to you right here and now, I've been working to sabatoge this tournament. You kept extending the deadline as to when I could respond to your invite. You kept PMing me over and over and over inviting me in.
Personally, Red, one Of my friends tournaments was announced and pinned and then suddenly yours popped up. at the same time. I'd never seen two tournaments run at the same time. I was a little offended that Red's tournament might have been sent to a back burner. I'd heard him talking about this tournament of his since Delph's tourney started. He really had his heart set on it. And I didn't like the possibility that you might have usurped his spot.
So with the harrasment in the in-box... I'm not the politest of people to those I don't know. I'd hoped that if I ignored you you'd get the hint. Had I known you I probably would have politeley declined as I'm not much for being a competitor.
And the perceived usurping of Red's spot I resolved to sabotage your tournament. Now I wasn't about to be as brash about things as Laminator X or Tricksterpriest were and get myself banned.
But now that I have no more matches, I lost this tournament fair and square. Am I an *******? Hells yeah I am. May you call me that? No, I only allow certain people to get away with bashing me in such a way.
Do I consider myself a great debater? Hell no. I come on to have fun in here. I'll help my friends with their tournaments as much as I'm able to give it focus. But personally I'm not big on tournaments. You should have left well enough alone.
Of course alot of my problem is a low self confidence coupled with a crushing lonelyness that makes me a rather bitter person.
You can feel free to insult me if you want, but I already know what a miserable little slug I am. So there's nothing you can tell me, or call me to hurt my feelings... anyway I'm done with the farce, yes the whole time I was activley if subtly disrupting your tournament, cause I'm a horrible little person. Cresh, she asked you to stop so I suggest you do before I have to step in. If you can't be civil or contribute to the tourny then stop. Having an opinion doesn't give you a pass to harass, flame or troll people after they've asked you to stop. And being defiant and name dropping me doesn't help.

Eva, what the heck are you doing bashing me again? The reason I was upset is because you changed rules mid-tourney, refused to explain to me why or address my objections to the rule change, and you also never informed me whether or not I would be allowed back in (I beat Stacks by the way, so it wasn't replacing him, it was because I earned my spot in the next round)....which caused me to waste more time preparing, not realizing I wasn't back in. Oh, and the post where I said I was dropping out I also said I wanted to compete in the FFA stuff....not when I requested back in, but when I dropped out of the main tourney. You ignored that entirely, and only used the part you wanted to in order to kick me out entirely. What rule did I break? What did I do to deserve a tourney ban? A rule change wasn't enough, eh? I expressed displeasure, and instead of addressing it before it escalated, you ignored me then booted me entirely. Nice work.
If you had talked to me at all in the first place rather than making a reactionist ruling then ignoring me, maybe I wouldn't have been so harsh. And calling it mud-slinging? Nah, mud-slinging is only when it's not justified. My complaints were completely reasonable.
Hell, I tried as hard as I could to help you early in the tourney, and we had a pleasant history on the forums. I expected at least the time of day, not a haughty dismissal as soon as I had something to say.
Then to bring it back up after almost a month?! I had washed my hands of this and wanted to leave it behind me. Clearly you couldn't do the same.

Oh, and the rule change that crippled my team also makes goober's strategy illegal. I like goob, and would actually want him to win if I didn't, but I also want things to be the same for everyone. It would be ironic indeed if Evangel lets him back in, only to win with the same tactic that she ripped away from me because of a banned member's b*tching.

It appears id369 won't participate in the finals. With that in mind, the final four in the tournament are; King Kandy, Psycho Gundam, Typhus, and Darthgoober. The instant tech change still applies, but I am sure it won't be a problem for Darthgoober. He can handle it and change his plans to adapt with the rule in mind.
To change things up for the finals, the teams will have memories of all previous matches they have fought in. They gain experience and knowledge to better fight for the final matches. I am sure everyone is aware of how it affects all the teams involved.
