So if you'd like I can throw my hat back in the race since things have settled down at home some. I'll understand if you'd rather pass since that would give you 5 competitors instead of 4(which is trickier to deal with), but I just thought I'd throw it out there in case someone else changed their mind too or someone else quit.

And before anyone says anything, yes I'm aware of the ruling on instant tech and am perfectly capable of competing anyway.

I was out of the competition (as in losing my matches), and because two more dropped. Eva decided to add on 2 more Me and Gundam.

But I don't have much of a plan, and I am to busy to come with with anything else.

There is a difference between darthgoober leaving voluntarily and Digimark quitting in what was the most biggest display of this tournament in order to protest against my ruling. Digimark had a match with Papa Smurph. I made a ruling on instant technology. (I am not going into my ruling again here) Digimark then (despite having the votes necessary to advance forward) decided to quit the tournament. I repeatedly asked if he was sure, and he quit "vocally" said yes. Therefore because of that, Papa Smurph advanced to the next round, and Digimark left the tournament.

Three days later (and a match or two later) Digimark sent me a Private Message requesting to be let back into the tournament not just as a regular competitor, but as a complete replacement and that I should kick out Papa Smurph (Papa Smurph was not banned at this point), and replace him with Digimark on the basis that Papa Smurph was:

1. personally insulting Digimark on numerous occassions (this is not my business. this is a personal history between Digimark and Papa Smurph)

2. Papa Smurph was unable to provide contestants with a fair match up. (I saw no such behavior from Papa Smurph with his match with Psycho Gundam or King Kandy)

I don't presume, and I don't want to know the history between Digimark and Papa Smurph or the rest of this forum. I view all participants as equals when they enter this tournament. Everytime I asked Papa Smurph to behave in this tournament, he did. He even agreed to avoid posting in non-tournament related threads before his matches and only post in the tournament threads to avoid getting into any situations that would lead to him getting banned and placing more strain on this tournament.

With the reasons Digimark presented, I could not find adequate behavior to remove Papa Smurph. He may have a history with Digimark personally, but he never showed any disrespectful behavior to me personally or publically.

There was a period in which no matches were taking place for about a week and a half. During this time after I replied that I would not remove Papa Smurph because of the reasons presented by Digimark, Digimark leveled the main tournament discussion thread in a huge display with complaints (which included remarks about me crippling his team with my ruling, me being unfair, playing in this tournament to win, and refusing to be a "lapdog" to my rulings) and argued against me for pages and pages drawing attention away from the main tournament. The argument then spread to the tournament match "Typhus vs id369" and completely took over the match. I tried to explain my reasoning with Digimark, but it was getting no where. The arguement escalated when Creshosk supported Digimark, became very vocal, and argued with Non-participants about the manner. I asked him to calm down, but the whole thing was getting out of hand.

At this point, the Digimark issue completely took over the tournament and it was getting very personal with insults and mud slinging being thrown around at me for my decision. With King Kandy on vacation, a few participants away for a few days, no matches taking place, and myself being busy for a small period of time, PLUS the tournament threads being bombarded with Digimark's complaints and arguments (which I repeatedly asked him to stop and drop the issue), I decided to close the tournament for about a week and half, to let things calm down, and let all the participants return from vacation.

After, I closed the main tournament, Digimark brought up complaints and arguments against me in the untournament related "sex in the champagne room" thread. I decided to not respond and just let Digimark calm down. During the period in which I personally closed the tournament, Papa Smurph in an unrelated thread (something about wonder woman vs rhino) got himself banned.

I then started up the tournament again without Digimark as a participant. Digimark made a final post in this thread saying how I am unfair and how I banned him, about the lack of respect I had shown him personally, and has never commented in this thread, or has voted in any other match thread since. I hope by making this post, that it doesn't turn into another chaotic thread. I wish this issue to be dropped and be left alone. It has almost been a full month since the incident occurred and there is no reason to keep bringing it up with Digimark gone.

And kissing up isn't about lieing to a person. The compliments may very well be true. That doesn't make them required. So what if a person has beautiful eyes? Not a point that needs to be brought up.

So what if she ran successful tournies in the past? This one was handled poorly.

That's enough Creshosk. You have no idea how many negative remarks I've let you get away with in this tournament. Far more than anyone else that I banned from this tournament because you were a competitor, and I personally invited you. But at this point I've reached a limit with all that you've been saying recently especially when you accused me of "telling people how to vote."

Stop with the snide insulting remarks, stop brining up the Digimark issue, or I will remove you and your voting priveleges from this tournament. I am tired of arguing with you, and consider this the only one and final warning.

Creshosk would actually know the best how much shit you've had to put up with, considering he is the main person responsible for much of the mudslinging.

One of the times Stacks got banned, the FIRST time he got banned was because he graphically depicted a rather unwanted sexual scene involving me. IF you think Digi was a pain you haven't seen any of those that I've dealt with. Even now I've learned to tone down my arguments. Despite wanting to point out people's intellectual inferiority in "not so nice" words even when I feel its merited, I don't do that anymore. I used to when I first joined this site. Because I had to put up with all sorts of harrasment. this was before Digimark even became a mod of this section. You think Digi's words are harsh? You haven't seen anything that could be considered harsh then princess.

From what I've seen and what I've had to put up with Digi seemed quite respectful in comparison. Hell Look at master-borg calling me an asshat because I'm vocal about my opinions. No offense because for some reason I still have some levels of respect for you otherwise I'd be working on getting you so frustrated you'd start to lose your composure.

I'm not really familiar with you and never even heard of you before you invited me to join this tournament which could have been big. But from your assesment of Digi's actions its pretty clear that comparitively you've been pampered.
