The supervoters rotate every match so its not the same person two matches in a row, and All current participants get a chance to be a supervoter at least once as well as non-participants who vote regularly so their opinion is expressed for everyone to see. Even if I wanted to it would be impossible.It is the same idea as having 3 judges for a tournament match. However, I didn't just want to have tournament matches to be limited to just 3 people deciding the entire battle. That's why I incorporated and created a hybrid system of both "Supervoters" and regular voters. Supervoters can disagree with one another, and can be overridden given enough regular voters or supervoters disagreeing with another.
In fact, I announce supervoters only right before the match starts to prevent them from being influenced ahead of time, and getting forum pressure to vote for the fan-favorite, and only focus objectively on the battle. If people knew ahead of time who they were, then they could be pressured.
HOW DARE YOU. I would never, NEVER tell anyone how to vote, and I am deeply hurt and angered that you would suggest that. I never tell people how to vote. Anyone who has received a supervoter invitation, can vouch for that.
In fact your accusation doesn't even make any sense! How the hell am I supposed to tell every single person in this tournament who to vote for, and why would they even listen to me?! Everyone has their own opinion, which is what makes tournament votes interesting to read, and why I require people to at least type out an explanation so everyone can understand their votes.
I have been allowing people to vote freely for all four tournaments I have held. That's right four. I don't tell people how to vote, and I encourage them to vote freely. My history shows that.

Some one "new"? Typhus is NOT new. He was in the last slugfest showdown. Do you not recall Digimark saying how he remembered Typhus from the last Slugfest showdown?
In fact I asked a lot of forum regulars if they were interested in participating in the tournament to replace TricksterPriest. Many declined due to various circumstances, and I even went back in the tournament archives and asked former slugfest participants if they would like to join as a replacement.
TricksterPriest fought one match, and basically just dropped out after that. It was still early in the tournament, there were at least 10 to 12 people still in the tournament actively. Typhus came in relatively early on in the tournament. I would much rather give them a challenge by fighting a real person, then wasting their time and giving them free wins.
But as this tournament is coming to a close and a tournament champion will be crowned soon, I do not have the luxury of bringing in new people. That would be extremely unfair. I hold last chance rounds to give competitors a second chance.
As to "suggested teams" I don't even remember what your talking about.

Creshosk I invited you to join this tournament because I read one of the previous tournament posts in which you brought out information about manga characters I wasn't personally aware of. You then made the claim that you would not stand for ignorance of characters. I was personally touched and thought you would bring the same attitude you did in that match to this tournament.
However, from the moment you started you picked a joke team loaded with girls and have constantly made sexual references, I personally do not like at all. You talk about handing out free wins, but how about the fact that every single person who has faced you has practically gotten a free win. Do you really think thats fair that you didn't even provide a challenge for anyone who faced you?
I've been as tolerant, kind, and understanding as I possibly can to everyone in this tournament. But this...you really crossed the line here Creshosk.

OK people WTF happened here, this tourney's just gotten worse and worse every since I dropped out...
Seriously, I know that a lot of people have had problems with some of the calls that Evangel's made over the course of this tourney but as I've repeatedly pointed out there's a whole new format in place in this tourney so there are bound to be kinks in it that are going to need to be addressed. It's not the first time rules have been altered mid tourney and it's far from the first tourney where characters of higher/lower level than is allowed have been drafted so why the Hell is everyone coming down on Evangel so hard? My dropping out was unavoidable because circumstances at home and Digi's was understandable because the strategy he built his team on was declared illegal, but what the Hell is up with everybody else? When those kinds of things happen you should deal with them and move on, not throw a b*tch fit and pull this "I'm gonna take amy bat and ball and go home" shit. You guys ever stop to think that maybe the tourney's no fun anymore because everyone acting like a dick to the other participants and the host at every turn and that kind of thing throws a dampener on the event?
Evangel has hosted numerous tourney's here on KMC and was one of the primary contributors to tourney's being refined to the point that they're at today. This was the LAST tourney that Evangel was going to host here on KMC, and I feel that a great disservice has been done to the vs forum in general in the sabotaging of the first truly innovative tournament I've come across. You whiners and b*tchers(you know who you are) should be ashamed of yourselves if only because you voluntarily put yourselves on Trick's level when things didn't go your way. If I ever host another tourney, you can be damn sure that I'll be keeping this tourney in mind when I'm deciding who I'll be allowing to compete.
I'm not speaking to everyone of course, but several participants(and non participants) need to find another hobby if you're only able to function effectively when things are tailor made to your specifications.

I'm actually saddened by several posters who seem to take glee in this tourney getting ruined. That's just pathetic. If you don't like the way this tourney has gone, fine, voice your opinions and get on with life...stop being jerks who point and laugh at every single mishap that you witness.
There are many posters who've acted in a less than respectable manner...and seem to relish their role. I'm asking you guys to reflect for a second on if doing what's popular (apparently bashing Evangel and her tourney) is really worth sacrificing your integrity.
And finally Evangel, I feel bad that you've had to suffer the juvenile behavior of alot of the posters here...just realize that many do appreciate your effort and hard work in putting together this tourney and will continue to support you despite the harrassment by certain factions of the board.

All I can say is that I am disappointed with the behavior of a lot of people in this tournament. You have made this the most difficult tournament I have ever run in my entire history here on KMC. But the harder you fight me, the harder I push back to finish this tournament.This tournament will continue. And to Devil Lance, Symmetric Chaos, and Zeitgeist, I am truly disappointed to see you leave, but there are still competitors in this tournament, and I have to continue, push forward, and crown a Final Slugfest Champion.
Because of the withdrawl of these competitors, I will forgo the 2nd Last Chance Finale, and advance id369 and Psycho Gundam into the main tournament. With that, we are down to the final four: King Kandy, Typhus, id369, and Psycho Gundam. One of these four will be crowned champion.
To make things interesting for the final matches, and to avoid any repeat matches, all teams and characters will be granted the memories and experiences of all previous matches they have fought in. In addition, the supervoter hybrid system will be used in all matches from now on. New Match schedules will be posted as soon as I can. I thank you for your kindness and patience, and will do my best to make final portion of this tournament as interesting and fun as I possibly can.

You know what, screw it. Evangel I can't help but notice that you're a little short on competitors and I still have two wins to my credit in this tourney... So if you'd like I can throw my hat back in the race since things have settled down at home some. I won't be able to devote quite as much time to getting ready for my matches, but I can probably find enough time to compete since the matches themselves are only 24 hours.
I'll understand if you'd rather pass since that would give you 5 competitors instead of 4(which is trickier to deal with), but I just thought I'd throw it out there in case someone else changed their mind too or someone else quit.
And before anyone says anything, yes I'm aware of the ruling on instant tech and am perfectly capable of competing anyway.
Digi wanted back in, especially since Stacks got banned... Lets see if Eva lets someone back in who dropped out even before digi does, based on them kissing up, rather than them simply wanting to.
Will goober get back in because he kissed up after Digi was denied when he asked to come back in?
Cause it also looks like with four people the numbers are balanced, a fifth will throw the numbers off.
