she pretty much stated in a previous debate that votes must be accompanied by a brief explanation or else they will not be counted

there are some people who will vote for someone just because they're friends and others who will vote against someone because they don't like them

asking for a reason also insures that people actually READ the debate before they vote

and it's pretty odd coincidence how one person got most of the votes with no explanations whatsover and before the debate even ended

Its also odd how she discounted my vote before she took my privledge away. and the reason wasn't that the explination came after the match closed, but before the voting period had started...

Perhaps people simply didn't buy the "Increased speed decreaces casting time" garbage.

and I think you made a great argument in regards to that...

if people who voted for Smurph stated that or anything else as a reason, i doubt their votes would've been nullified. Instead, most of them posted nothing, not even one sentence, to explain their vote.

and there are some people I truly think that did not even read the debate and just voted on personal preferences for the debator...of course this is not something I can prove

the whole point of a voting period was to allow people to know when to vote and also to give a chance for debators to have complete freedom to debate without people injecting their votes.

hence, you can't vote BEFORE or AFTER the voting period. its not like Evangel counted other votes that happened before the voting period and singled you out.

I mean the reason she gave for nullifying my vote was that I voted before the voting period rather than the fact that I voted (with explination) after the voting period ended.

Its like she ignored that fact... not that it matters, since she wanted Kandy to win she damn well made sure that Kandy won.

Hell I was even right with the "early vote". Kandy didn't make a single post after he said he was done.

Do you people think you are accomplishing anything? From day one the chief problem with this tourney was that people fought constantly. It's something that needs to stop.

you have to realize you're not the only one going through problems and hardships in life, and that many have it much worse than you...learn to deal with it through positivity rather than negativity, you might feel better 🙂
