In any case, Supes can survive black holes where light cannot even escape (Indeed, he can actually escape two of them), so the idea of him being "away" from a yellow sun making him helpless is moot. Unless the Jedi are fighting him on a planet with a red sun (Which negates the idea of using Superman, since no one can substantiate how powerful Supes is under just any old red sun), this is a red herring. Supes can pretty much grab people and haul them into the sun within seconds, including people like Wonderwoman, who can grab bullets. I doubt Lightsabers, even if they could somehow be magically used against him at speeds surpassing light (Since Supes has routinely made under ten seconds to the sun whereas light itself takes longer), would do anything at all to him.
^ Supes just grabbing bullets shot at him. That's how quick he is; he grabs multiple bullets which themselves are shot at hundreds of miles per hour.
Let's think about this people; what the hell are Jedi going to use on him that equals that speed? Lightsabers?

Force users must exert their powers to move objects. Obviously, the heavier it is, the more difficult it is to levitate.
So basically, a Jedi could try and lift Supes who can either overcome it with his own considerable power:

Supes can only be depowered by kryptonite or the red sun's rays. If you add kryptonite, you're being a serious tool and lopsiding the match. If you say there's a red sun involved:

First off none of you have even thought to try and counter Man of Christs aurgument of using the force to crush Superman, why becase the force crushes him.
Supes shrugs off explosions that could destroy small nations with a mild concussion. Force crush would not affect him. So either substantiate the highest limit of force choke using canon sources or stop using this ridiculous argument.
secondly, Superman gets his power from yellow Sun which has a specific light wavelength and frequency, lets see if you drown out the light from the sun and replace it whith that of ANY other color and "BAM" superman is powerless.
Actually, it's only the red sun which saps his strength; he's like a battery which stores yellow sun energy. If really replacing or removing the yellow sun's rays made him worthless, why can he fly through black holes? Oops. You didn't think of that, did you?
also being able to move faster than light is kingd of useless against a jedi/Sith, they have something called precoagnition which they know where he is going to be before superman does, authough it my only be a few milliseconds a well trianed and expireinced force user can and will be able to react.
Except that Jedi precognition is not infallible and it is certainly not enough to make them anticipate and counter a being which cannot be harmed by their levels of power, cannot be stopped by their reflexes, and cannot be even seen when he moves in combat.
So really, the only thing a Jedi could do is get a "bad feeling" about going toe-to-toe with Supes, right before he wrecks them.
Thirdly, the jedi who died at geonosis where mostly what appeared to be padawans, the expireinced jedi such as Mace Windu had no problem in deflecting and destroying the droids.
Erm, no, they weren't. Read Shatterpoint and hear about all the revered, respected, non-padawan Jedi that Mace Windu knew who died at Geonosis not because they were substandard Jedi, but because the Jedi were vastly outnumbered and had the tactical setup of a noob in AoE.
