Dragonball Movie 2008

Eh, we won't be getting a trailer in July and certainly not anytime sooner.

Its hard to judge from just cast and pics, until I see things in action, hear the actors see how well they portray the characters then my judgement is laid to rest.

However somethings I wish they would've kept:
Talking animals (Oolong, Puar, Roshi's Turtle), Humanoid animal people, flying cars(!), Master Roshi's look, Bulma's hair color, "Alternate" Earth, and more things are sure to come as more info about movie comes down the pipeline.

Also they should've made a DBZ movie when its popularity was at its all time peak sometime in the 90's right? The same goes for Naruto if they wanted to make a Live Action movie about it, the time is now, before its popularity fizzles...

What do you mean 'Bulma's hair color'? She still has blue hair in the movie. Also, I'm glad the talking animals are gone, they were lame and annoying, especially Puar and Oolong.

Are you sure? I haven't seen one picture of the girl playing Bulma with Bulma's hair color while in costume. And aww what's wrong with Puar? Plus Yamcha is going to be in it. It's like taking Chaiotzu away from Tien.

I hate Chaozu, he's a whiny little runt...and so is Puar.

Well, I could've sworn that Bulma was going to ahve fully blue hair. Does she only have one long strand of blue hair in the pics or something?

I don't remember if her hair is streaked. But every photo on the set she's got brown hair.

But Tien without Chiaotzu is like Trunks without Goten, Piccolo without Gohan, Yamcha without Puar, shoes without socks. Besides for being the weakest Chiaotzu isn't as much of a chicken as Yamcha or Krillen which is why I like him. Puar..not sure at all why I like her, him, it...whatever Puar is.

Well, they are set photos afterall, I doubt they want to reveal just yet what Emmy looks like with full blown blue hair.

Actually, Chaotzu has never done anything truly relevant. I wouldn't say Yamcha and Krillen are the bravest of the fighters but they've helped the Earth way more than Chaozu.

Most of the time Tien keeps Chiaotzu away so he doesn't die again. Plus Yamcha died against a Saibamen, and was to scared to fight for fear of dying after he came back. Chiaotzu died once, still fought against the saiyans, and killed himself trying to kill Nappa without any kind of fear before they could even be wished back as many times as they want..and came back still unafraid. He may be small but at least he's not afraid of dying..or in Krillens case everything. Same with Tien.

Tien wasn't afraid of anything, he took on both Cell and Buu. He saves us from complete annilhilation from Cell and saved Gohan from dying when he went up against Super Buutenks. Krillen may be scared a lot but he has still helped out more. I can't say the same for Yamcha as neither he nor Chaozu have actually done much. I don't even think Yamcha was ever meant to be a big fighter anyway.

What I meant to say was Tien was also unafraid even after dying..just like Chiaotzu. And what did Krillen really do during DBZ? Besides be comic relief and get beat up from Namek on? After the saiyan saga none of the humans really did much of anything. Which sucked cause Tien was awesome.

Tien should have been in this movie.

Actually, you're right, Krillen didn't do much, he actually helped Cell become perfect. And I still think there's a chance of Tien appearing at the tournament, it was never said that he wasn't going to be in the movie, right?

True..but it's also never said he was. You'd think they'd say if he was going to be in it if he was. Then again they've got a whole year to announce stuff.

They may want to keep some of the appearances of characters secret. Afterall, it's a well known fact that Tien is a very popular DBZ character.

So is Krillen but isn't he not going to be in it? Or am I mistake.

Krillen isn't that popular and like Tien, his fate in this movie is currently unknown.

I know a lot of people that like Krillen because he's funny.

The majority of people on the net don't really care for Krillen. He's okay, but he's not a favorite of mine.

I don't like him either but he's not exactly hated either. Besides..Krillens been in the series longer than almost anybody else minus everybody confirmed except Piccolo he should deserve a spot. Krillen is one of the major people of DB. Then again I guess a short noseless guy, a china doll, and a guy with three eyes is a bit more than they want. Piccolo may be green but he's not missing anything or having anything extra..or looking like a doll. I don't understand why'd they put in all new characters while taking out Krillen and Tien...so I'm hoping wiki is wrong about the new people being added.

No, they're not lying, some new characters have been added. Also, I'm not saying Krillen's hated, just that he doesn't have a strong fanbase like most of the other characters. The most popular are the Saiyans and of course, Tien.

The dude's been a solid part of the story since dragonball, He wasn't made the strongest human on the planet over Yamcha, Tien etc. for nothing, Even in GT they had him in it during Super 17 for the fans.
