Dragonball Movie 2008

Well in other forums the fans seen to accept the changes fron the original DB to the movie version, until now Bulma and Master Roshi are the ones than have change, Goku is the closest to the manga.

Master Roshi has hair and he wont use beard, making him look diferent from the manga and the "Magic beggins" version, althougt he use the clasic hawaiian shirt, but at least i hope he show the personality of Roshi, this change remind me Alfreds version from Michael Cane in Batman Beggins, i accept this change but i feel like it could have being better. it will depend of the personality, and the weight of the film goes to Piccolo.

It kinda makes sense that Goku doesn't look REAL buff right from the start.. if you compare pictures of Goku from the later episodes of Dragonball "which Goku was teenager towards the end of the series" to picuters of Goku from the Cell saga there's a huge difference of muscle between the two... I expect Goku to look alot more like a seasond fighter later in the next installments "if they even make them"

LMAO , kinda true. I mean if this guy can play goku, and they do make a sequel. I might as well audition to play freakin Vegeta......and i probably will.

Goku was white like every one else, if he was supposed to look 'Asian' he didn't. No idea how you look 'Asian' considering the massive differences in appearance between the regions.

Most likely. But I'm going to give it a chance at least. Who knows really until it's actually out. They might surprise us and make it halfway decent.

Odds are he'll probably only where the gi during the tournament part cause there is a picture of him in it...sorta because it's not exactly the same as the anime. Which I don't understand why he needs different clothes besides the orange gi. That's all he wears.

And I dunno I think the whole mixing asian and white people as actors is pretty good imo. Don't think I liked any of the choices they got except perhaps Piccolo but you can't really tell how bad it's going to be just because of the actors they have and nothing else. As long as the personalities are pretty much the same it should be good.

I wonder if they are goin gto incorporate the humanoid animals wich seem to be prevalent in DB

I thought I heard somewhere that Oolong nor Puar are going to be in it because the talking animals are out. Yamcha's going to be in it but no Puar. Or so I remember hearing I think...Maybe somebody else knows.

I hope this movie does good. It seems like a dedicated group of people are behind it so they need to focus on pulling off the best job they can possibly do.

I just want to see the trailer of this movie.

No, one won't be released for a while. The movie was announced a few months ago to have been delayed to a April 2009 release.

I suspect a teaser may come out in july hopefully
