To me, a fanboy is a person who is obsessed/emotional attached with something/someone and has a habit of overrating it/him/her while underrating others. Some of the claims might be ridiculous while other claims are just dumb. A fanboy would find it hard to believe that there is someone/something better than his obsession, whether it's a show or character.
There are plenty of people who have favorite characters and shows, but it doesn't automatically make them a fanboy. Although Yoshi is my favorite video game character, I'm not a fanboy of him since I could never be obsessed with a fictional character.
Originally when I saw the pictures of Piccolo I just wanted to laugh.
Though I admit,I think Justin Chawtin is a good choice for Goku.
Though I don't know how accurate it is with what is filmed,I took the time to read 85-90% of the leaked script.
I have to admit I really enjoyed what I read.Their were even a few moments with the dialogue between Bulma and Goku were I laughed out loud.
Though i'm dissapointed with the way Master Roshi looks,in the script he's,imo,a pretty faithful reproduction of his Anime counterpart minus the looks.Their were a few moments I laughed at him as well.
Goku is changed a considerable amount in the script.For the first act of the film he's more like Peter Parker (spider man),than he is the Goku we all know from the shows and comics.
If the script is accurate with what they film I think that while hardcore fans "WILL" walk out of the theatres dissapointed,they will realize this film wasn't as bad as they thought it would be,and will actualy be very curious to see a sequel.

What debate? All I did was tell Dadudemon what a fanboy is.
Can someone please tell me that this isn't how Piccolo's going to look in the movie? His other look was much better.
