Ok ur talking about Marvel's Mantis. That's complete PIS. Her leg should have been broken. In a face to face confrontation straight up Runner would waste Mantis horribly. In no way should she be able to compete with any Elder.

Well im not sure how durable he is but Mantis did block one of Champions punches. She should be able to take some of Supermans punches at any rate Cap now has fTL reflexes his skill and Mantis's skill it could well be argued that Cap will dictate how the fight goes because he is better at H2H and his shield and would not even get hit, especially if the motherbox gives him a red sun gun he can finish the fight quickly.

Mantis is hard to gauge. She has one nice showing of bringing down Thor for a bit with a sneak attack.

But when she fought Wonderman, Drax, and Champion she could not KO them. In fact once they got a hold of her, she was completely helpless.

Ok good points but when she thought WM I dont think she was not at the Celestial madonna level.

When she fought Champs, he used MA.

Ok she got caught by Drax, but dont forget her evading Runner and almost dodging every single attack from Obliterator.

Also dont forget this is not just about Mantis's skill but Cap as well, it could be argued that he would be even more effective than Manbis at FTL speed he can also use his shield to block a good portion of attacks.

I wasnt sure wether the motherbox gave him added durability I suspected it but the motherbox protected Batman from DS's punches.

I would say the motherbox capabilities must be discussed more because it seems like it can do much if it exploits superman's weaknesses. Even with Cap's new powers and stuff I think the fight will go something like this... Superman will try a flurry of punches and HV but Cap will block some and dodge some. I beleve even blocking with the sheild he will absorb some of the impact unto himself and that will hurt some. Add in a few hits cap didn't manage to dodge or block will further hurt 'cap's ability to fight but if cap holds off superman with his reflexes and his Healing helps him last longer he can buy himself enough time for the mother box to create a anti-superman contraption (i would suggest cap makes some kind of explosive kryptonite bomb, the bomb won't harm cap at all and it would be unexpected and superman will prolly think its a normal grenade or bomb and won't give it a second thought just taking the hit) I assume this is a very good scenario. On the other hand superman can be cheap and bear hug cap and run into soemthing really hard and kill cap on impact or fly into the vacume of space space. Are those both likely attacks that superman will do initially i don't think so tho.

Thank you! To add some points though Cap now has added durability. Im not sure how durable Mantis is but she can survive in the vacuum of space and was able to block one of Champions punches so Cap could take some punches from supes.

Apparently a motherbox protected Batman from Darksieds punches.
