So my laptop died.....

The LCD screen on my Dell went out, so I called Dell to order a new one, they want $400.00 for it. I was pondering buying a whole new laptop, then I called a small mom and pop computer repair store. $275.00 to check my laptop to make sure it is the screen that is the problem, buy the screen, and install it.

Dell tried to assrape me. 🙄

Actually, Dell didn't try to assrape you at all, $400 for an LCD is normal pricing.

So, unless your laptop is still under warranty and they are asking you for $400, you shouldn't ***** to much about it.

In fact, you shouldn't have bought a shitty Dell in the first place. If you want a new, decent system, laptop you're going to pay more for it then the screen replacement, even if you have luck at the Mom & Pop store.

I didnt buy a shitty dell, it fell outta my backpack a coupla weeks ago, I suspect that is what caused it. and yes, the warranty is expired. I am gonna get it fixed next week and save up for a toshiba.

All Dell's I've seen have been terrible. Constant crashing, hardware failure, etc.

The top line Dell laptops aren't that bad, the fact that Dell is the sister company of Alienware should put your mind at rest. That's only if you're willing to spend around £1,000 (about $1,900).

Everyone raves about Toshiba, but all they've done is let me down. If you're going to buy a new laptop, don't **** about, and actually spend some money, get an Alienware.
