From my experiences, it was mainly faulty hardware. Oh and Tech Support was horrible.

Power cord and the fact that it's generally spec-less (but that's not Gateway's fault.)

Macs seem to be of great to excellent quality.

I have grown to actually quite like the Mac, I've been using my mates Mac Book Pro for a while and to be honest Leopard is a fantastic OS. I just don't like the mouse and keyboard differences though... They seem pointless and unnecessary.

I got to have a mouse with lots of buttons... Not the Mac's one...... I know you can plug in PC mouses, but you really just shouldn't have to.

Touch pads are fine for simple deskop use... But when running programs (like games), they fail.
