Also, HP DD did not evolve on the fly to screw up Waverider's attack. I've already explained what happened. He attempted to shut down DD's nervous system and got feedback. And why wouldn't he? DD doesn't have typical organs. He's mostly mass. Why should he have a regular central nervous system?
Supes was only slightly stronger than Thor in their canon crossover. The Thor Thanos took on was 10 times stronger than when he fought Supes, plus amped to an unknown degree by the Power Gem. And Thanos was still depicted as being about equal physically with Thor. That alone proves Thanos is much stronger than Superman is. As is Darkseid when written correctly.
Also, Darkseid would've done better against DD if he hadn't turned his back on his opponent - a very stupid thing to do.

And of course Supes has a wealth of feats after his encounter with Thor that validate>Thanos....but besides that point Thanos was on the losing end. On that note, Thanos has never physically intercepted Thor's hammer in the manner Supes has...and has Thanos ever even had a KO victory over Thor.

He wasn't losing. If you read the fight, you'd know they were about equal. Thanos even knocks him through the floor.
Thanos has never physically intercepted the hammer because...he doesn't care? He's stopped it without even touching it before. Proof enough that he can do it anytime he wants.

You need to be quite bit stronger in order to block a hammer mid swing...
You do realize they were trading punches, not arm wrestling. IIRC they never truly compared their strength during the fight. That's like saying Wolverine's stronger than Spider-man because he can take his hits.. 😕
