This is why I deplore defending Darkseid....various posters
are to closed minded and biased to acknowledge his abilities.
Instead of being classified as skyfather, like he is consistently portrayed in the comics people insist on putting him in the same class range as top tiers....which is just sad and cringe worthy to say the least...
It has been shown countless times that he is capable of handling various transcendent levelers, some that could even best Despero....yet unfortuntely, instead of being hailed as the powerful deity he truly is, he is forever known as the guy that is Superman's punching bag.
It's very sickening really, because rather than analyzing his character throughly, people prefer extrapolating his low showings in favor of belittling what he represents. Really, two low showings shouldn't really out weigh the ass load of feats that puts him on a higher level than damn near any transcendent.
When ever Darkseid's low showings are dismissed as pis, it's believed that the defendant is crying foul......but honestly....who the hell isn't plagued with disgraceful showings?😬
How about I just hop in a Silver Surfer thread and say he's loses based off his performance against Black Panther. Or how about I say that Batman loses a match, because he's been tagged by Scarecrow? Either way you look at it, it's an unreasonable way to get your point across.....none of those showings justifies that a certain character should be able to win against them....
I must say that how he was depicted in Apokolips now, is by far one of the most disgraceful Darkseid moments, in the history of comics......it's was so out of character, that Jack Kirby should have arose from his tomb, to smash the testicles of the one who wrote the story......begging like a b1tch and admitting defeat is something Darkseid does not do....even Superman the animated series interpretation of the character was more respectable than thatcrylaugh......and Supes whooped on him twice in that show....the truth is, Darkseid is never capable of admitting superiority over another opponent....he's simply too damn arrogant. However, being out of character is not the only reason that story failed to convey what Darkseid represents. Superman is not someone that should be beating Ds.
Superman is by far the worst measuring stick, you can use for a character.😬 When you can beat Dominous, one shot Desparo, make a Source powered Infinity man struggle against you, and even injure Darkseid with soul fire power, maybe just maybe him being able to take wins against Darkseid, is merely a testament to how over powered Dc makes him? This is why Pr specifically told us to not bring him up in this thread.....it's the god honest truth.😬
Superman's two performances against Darkseid, completely contradicts established canon. It's has been shown too damn much, that a being with such vast powers and abilities, should have no business submitting to a top tier.....
There's is absolutely nothing to suggest that Darseid is around top tier strength level, other than pitiful showings that negates his established abilities.

Um, DS is so far above physically fighting. He even says so a few times. DS bitched Superman in S/B. Really. It was only his own power that gave superman any hope of winning. Now, you are not leo and as such, you only will ruin the credibility of the question I posed to him.

Barring Superman, DS hasn't lost any physical fights. Even Superman has said that he thought it was impossibility to beat DS physically.
