well they just handled according to what they were suposed to do, a change in the regulation and such maybe, but as of now. Well sorry to say they did as instructed to do
They did not though. They went contrary to their regulation. On top of it being ridiculous. So...yeah.

They did not though
according to TSA they did, but this brought an awareness to that the procedures needs to be changed in the future

According to the text they are investigating. According to their website they did not.

TSA HOMEPAGE

From that article:
It appears that the Transportation Security Officers involved properly followed procedures in that incident. They rightly insisted that the alarm that was raised be resolved. TSA supports the thoroughness of the Officers involved as they were acting to protect the passengers and crews of the flights departing Lubbock that day.
kind of say they did

well im relieved that their internal investigation determined that they were right. case closed.

Fair enough, they determined they were correct (big surprise there). Though that wasn't in the article. Also, really doesn't make what they did better. She should take it to the courts, especially considering that the TSA is ****ing nonsense anyways.

In my country you are told while picking up the ticket and on signs that anything that can be detected by senors must be removed, that includes piercings and the likes.
With better information situations like this could be avoided, taking into consideration the fact that passengers follow them tough

True, also if those ridiculous security standards didn't exist situations like this could be avouded.

in today situation we need these security standards, sadly but even so, too many nutcases out there

yes, cant be too careful in these troubled times of women smuggling tittie bombs onto planes

I strongly disagree. We don't need to put our sanitary items in bags and store them away in our luggage, we don't need to not bring out coke on a plane, we don't need to remove our jewelery, we don't need to be anally raped in case we hid an uzi in our ass. It's authoritarian government bullshit gone mad. In fact, what we need, to make flying once again safe for everyone, is a requirement for every ****ing passenger to carry a gun on the plane, we, sadly, are going in the opposite direction.

are you sure thats a good idea? you do realize that just one mistakenly discharged firearm can depressurize the cabin and quite possibly kill everyone on board, right?

No, but seriously, I am all for private airport security. It's probably in the best interest of the companies to not have their planes hijacked. But at the same time a private approach would make sure that shit like this would not happen and that security personal would include the actual risk in their thinking instead of just mindlessly harrass everyone.
