Wheres the god damn hockey?

I was checking out the DevilsRule message board and the comments were exactly what I was expecting:

1) Devils are a disappointing (bleep) (bleep) (bleep) and we would have never expected Marty to let us down. Nooo, not Marty!!!! Our saviouuuuuuur!
2) I'm gonna strangle myself in the shower!!!!
3) Refs cost us the series, I tell ya! Refs! Refs! They scored all the f*cking goals, too!
4) Everyone on the Canes team is from the South and is an inbred!
5) INBRED, INBRED, INBRED hey I've got no original material here except anybody who loves the Canes is an inbred even though I'm from f*cking Jersey. Oh, did i mention all people from the south are inbreds? F#ckin' hilarious!

I live outside of Raleigh in the town of Clayton, and there are 10 houses on my street. Here is where everyone is from: 3 houses from Michigan, 1 house from Long Island, 1 house from upstate New York, 1 house from Georgia, 2 houses from Mexico, 1 house from NC, and I don't know where the other house is from.

Maybe it's just me, but I think they're all inbreds.

Malkin took the Penguins to the Finals. Crosby just helped out.

And the ironic part was about the B*tch part, not Ovechkin fizzling out part. I put the bold around the b*itch and forgot that it would be censored.

It doesn't really matter. He is still in the top 3 players in the league.

If I had to choose? I would take Crosby over Ovechkin solely on the fact that I think he will help the team play better.

But both are great players, and no matter what, if a team has a chance of getting them, they would jump in a second to get them.

But I rather have Malkin over Crosby anyways.

I like Ovechkin. He is a very entertaining player to watch. I'm looking forward to him matching up against Crosby. Although, i think we will be seeing Malkin matching up against Ovechkin more than Crosby.

I think Crosby gets shat on a lot because the media has marketed him as the next Gretzky since his rookie year. Crosby, is a very humble and reserved person. Unless you are from Pittsburgh or follow the NHL extensively i don't think most people get to see what Crosby is like. They only get to see him being shoved off as the next legend. This isn't Crosbys' fault. It is just a marketing ploy to get people interested in watching the sport. I actually think marketing players like this is a good thing. Hockey needs more publicity. Avery once said that the sport needs more heroes and villains and if the league chose to do so they could have triple the ratings. I actually agree with this, but i don't think i would like to see it happen. I wouldn't want Hockey to turn into Football or Basketball.

I'm a big believer in gratitude and honor. The only time i will seriously shit on a player is when they are being condescending or disrespectful to the game or other players for no reason. Now, i may biitch and moan and even verbally abuse a team or opposing players but thats just because i'm getting in the mood for a game

Either way, Crosby is an astounding player. He definitely doesn't have the accuracy of an Ovechkin but, i believe, he is a far better playmaker. He is also a speed demon. Crosby will always need a Malkin or Kunitz as a wingman. Like any other superstar and leader he seems to make his teammates play better but i don't think he possesses a Lemieux or Gretzky ability to single handedly win a game for his team. He is definitely going to get better with age but i actually think Malkin will surpass him in skill, presuming he can keep himself healthy.

Usually that's true, but alot of people do not like Crosby.

I really don't see why but as Jynx says, it could be the case that he was highly touted prospect since he was 12.

No, all things considered that was a highly entertaining game. After the second period i thought the Caps were going to Blow the Pens out of the water. I can't believe they let themselves get beat on the rush so badly. Hopefully the Pens can hone their passing and Power play.

Even though i dislike the caps, i really hope they knock out pens, and the blackhawks just dont know when to stay down, they keep fighting back, dont think the canucks will win that series.
