"Go ahead!" He growled, his eyes sharpened, and a split second later a loud bang filled the room.
Vrix stared in silence as the shot rang out. He almost smiled as he saw the revolving silver-hollow point bullet zipping through the air at him in slow motion. His smile instantly disappeared as quickly it had begun, and he began to draw the veil around him to escape the bullet- too late.
The bullet- it's trajectory slightly off it's original target, plunged through Vrix's shoulder above his heart. The tip shattered scattering silver fragments through his body tearing artery's and nerves, burning his flesh. The bullet itself tore a hole out the back of his shoulder and cracked the bone there.
Vrix was spun slightly to his left as the bullet hit him, his eyes locked on Kiki. He could already feel his flesh around his left shoulder begin to burn. He staggered backwards from the impact and said nothing not a word.
"He killed our men!" The man snarled angrily.
