Lich growled at the two encroaching officers and grabbed the presiding captain by the neck. Lifting him to eye level he glared into his eyes, "You are bold human, so let me put this curtly: No. You are going to take your residing forces, and leave. Any further resistance on your part will result in the death of your fellow squad members." He glanced at one who was shaking mildly but still kept his fire arm pointed at Lich, "do you think you can carry the blood of these on your head?"
"Yo have the right to a PS3... eh? I'm afraid I have to ma'am, he just assaulted and killed two SWAT officers." The SWAT commander nodded to Lich, I could do you up on Assault charges, Vampire, but I'm letting it slide." Several normal cops wearing Riot gear walked into the room and dragged the dead bodies out. "Ma'am I'll a few questions for you, I'll be back."

[I hope you realize you are being held by the neck by Lich. I doubt anything about him screams vampire. 🙂]
Lich glared at the officer, "I don't believe you understand, you have absolutely no room to be negotiating here. I am not giving you an option," He tightened his grip around the officers neck, "you will leave, or you will cooperate with us. If information is what you seek, we have mutual interests." He rested his free hand on Jason's shoulder pulling him away from the officers, "I believe you know the meaning of trade?"
jasen pulled the envelope out of his pocket, straitening it out and handing it to steph. "there ya go." he walked over to the officer and looked up. "and i have no idea why you accuse me of arson or attempted murder, although you are right about one thing, heh, i murdered the heck out of that swat officer." he gave a wide toothy smile. "a ps3 you say, well thats too bad, i'm more of an xbox 360 type of guy." he pulled a chair up next to steph's bed and sat down.
waiting for the SWAT to take further actions, Benjii decided to talk to Steph. 'Steph, is everything ok? do you want me to come back?' he shook his head at what he said last. he thought to himself "of course she wants me back...why wouldn't she? we're both in love and i am the baby's father. blah" he spit on the floor and sighed

Lich turned from looking at the officer, pity now filled his eyes for the news he was going to have to tell her. He dropped the officer straight on his but, and passed the two man who by now were scared of out their wits. He approached her and looked down at the note. Staring at it, words appeared in crimson red, faded to black, and then disappeared again. "Why read a letter, when I am standing right here? Had I not needed to be summoned, the words would have found your eyes and not my own, and revealed themselves to you. But as I am here, the letter is not necessary," finishing the sentence the letter disintegrated into ash leaving nothing but a trail of soot as the remains blew away from Steph. Lich sighed another one of his heavy sighs that promised terrible news. He laid a hand on Steph's stomach.
Suddenly small bumps and waves began to move along the abdomen, the discomfort and pain felt by the violent forces were enough to knock the wind out of Steph. Lich removed his hands and the motions subdued and the pain stopped. "The enemy you were seeking is here. Although not his full entity, his core. I have not located the rest of him, but what is important is here." He pointed to her stomach again. "Your child as been cleansed of all the impurity inside of you. She is safe. But you," his tone grew an ominous seriousness that carried more fear then not, "I have not the strength to remove the potency of your possession. And until you are cured, you will be unable to see your daughter again." Even without eyes to look at Steph, he could not stand to look at her. Had I been a second sooner, but a moment before his arrival...I could have saved them both...
She let out a sigh, very shaky, and a look of despair swept over her. "How did this happen?... How did it-?.... Lich please how am I to rid myself of this... this thing in me?" She took his hand as tears slowly rolled down her cheeks. "Please... I want to hold my baby. I want to see her and hear her cries... Lich I cant stand this mental connection any longer." Bit bit her lip and spoke in a soft tone, sounding as if she were going to start sobbing at any moment. "Please you have to help me." She spoke to Benjii. 'No.. Everything has gone terribly wrong. Benjii there is a demon in me.. Lich cant get it out.'
Benjii shook his head, thinking to Steph and out loud "no...it can't be. it can't be. IT'S A LIE!!!" he broke the handcuffs and killed his guards, running back to the room where Steph and the rest were. as he entered the room he skidded to a halt and looked at Lich "why did you tell her that? are you trying to make her more depressed than she already is?" he felt Infernus run through him as he got more angry

Lich let go of Steph's grip as though disgusted by the touch of humans. Enraged he glared at Benjii, on the brink of striking. "Of all the humans and immortal's alike you are possibly the most ignorant one I know of! You think immortality is a gift. A power bestowed upon the greater of all the races. The fool who believes he is blest with immortality, for emotions mean nothing! Memories are prisons to our being, forever made to waltz these infinite circles of dying loved ones. No, immortality gained, is life lost. That is why she is infected with him, YOUR great father! That he may live once more!"
Lich let himself gain control before continuing onward. "Thousands of years ago I was once Prince to a mighty Vampiric empire. I loved my father dearly, and though I knew I was heir to the throne, I would exchange nothing for our relationship." He lowered his head, an homage to a passed king, "My brother killed our father, jealous of our relationship and ambitious for the throne. He framed me, and out of ignorance they believed. They cursed me with this...this" he clenched his hands in despair, "to wonder the world for what I have down. My brother became king, wedded the woman of my dreams, and through away all hopes of my return." He rose his head and stared at Benjii, "I have come across countless lovers, numerous friends, and more kings and kingdoms then I could remember. And with each different level of love, comradeship, power, wealth, existence they all shared one thing: mortality. And in the end, none of these things mattered to me. So I wondered hoping one day to find a means of escape. And I have," he looked towards Steph, "with ever generation of child, there is always one known as a prodigy, or a preferred soul. Most rituals require the presence of one preferred soul, and depending on the ritual, death of the aforementioned. It seems he was caught and was too ensnared in this immortal prison. And so he has sought your daughter for liberation."
He looked back at Benjii, "once free, he will make little work of you and all this earth. Your beast is but a dog compared to him. And that fact you can barely control him is a testament alone to the strength that you possess. Do not think for an instance that because we are blood relatives, I would not kill you to ensure he does not return."
