What have you done with your life since you joined KMC?

I was reading another thread when someone asked rhetorically, what have we done with our lives? This actually made me think how much has changed in my life since I joined KMC.

Let's see . . . I was in the middle of a major break up when I joined here. I moved into an apartment with my best friend. Met an awesome girl on KMC who lives in Europe. I quit my first news job. Moved away and worked at a hardware store. Moved back and got my news job back. Moved to the coast, still with the same job. Got a news job in Vegas. Left California and moved to Las Vegas. Started new job. Moved into a house with some coworkers. Met my girlfriend. Married my girlfriend. Bought a House. Got promoted and bought a Chihuahua.

So, what have you done with your life since you joined KMC?

Got a job working in IT. Moved to OKC. Had a baby. (Okay...my wife had the baby.) Got several IT certifications. Paid off tons of debt. Moved from the apartment into a duplex. I have also learned several things since then.

When I joined KMC I had no life offline, and now I do awesome

You think it would be the other way round mmm

Waste all of my ****ing time here.

I don't have much of a life thats why I am always on here.

I hear that. A lot went on for me in the past few years, but now that I'm settled, every day seems the same.

When I joined KMC I was a 17 year old kid living in Minden, NV. Shared an apartment with my sister. Got a job working at a grocery store, subsequently got fired from the job.

Moved back home to Tennessee, got a job at a fast food restaurant, quit that bullshit job.

Moved back to Nevada, but this time right by Vegas. I became a housekeeper at a hotel/casino, left that job to become a certified houseboat driver, propane technician. Lost my virginity.

Stayed at that job a year before wanting something better...didn't find it, became a night stocker at a grocery store to make ends meet. Ended up becoming a cashier at the same grocery store, then injured my knee so bad I haven't been able to work much. Sued the company, lost, appealed the case, lost again.

Moved back to Tennessee, became a printer repairman, lost that job due to downsizing, found a new job and became a certified forklift operator at a DVD manufacturer. Lost that job after having an accident involving a forklift and an I-beam.

Tried working at a scrapyard cutting steel with a high powered torch, reinjured my knee, and here I am now...

I get through everything just fine, it sucks but just gotta look forward to other things that might come along.

I became more social to people online.

Oh, and got majorly drunk many times, and got high a lot. Plus made lots of kick ass friends.

I had just graduated high school and was going through a hard breakup. Partied and played poker all summer. I went to college for a few months in the fall but couldn't afford it so I dropped out that semester. I worked as a pizza delivery guy for about 5 months, quit and then enrolled in a smaller, more affordable college in the spring. Been going to classes there and just got a new job at Home Depot.
