In all seriousness, if a new franchise comes up, no hybrid this time. One thing you never want to do is repeat what was already done. Then you have to add on the fact that fans aren't interested in seeing the same thing again & again.

What sort of hybrid do you mean ?

Even better do a restart of the AVP movies later on and try and get some more well known directors attached.

When the first Alien Vs Predator movie stuff was going around, Takashi Miike was rumoured to be the director. That would have been GOODDDDDD.

The Predalien. What I was saying that if they restarted the franchise, don't have another hybrid appear because it'd be like they were following in the footsteps of the previous franchise, instead of going their own route. just do a 3rd AVP and tie it in with the alien franchise with the ship on LV_426, then they would be free to put the aliens and preds on what ever planet and time they want.

if they do start up the alien movies again just start it from the end of Aliens and pretend alien 3 and resurection never happened.

Well I think they got definite potential....Remember checking out the timeline on a website didnt seem to be much predator activity around the time us hummies where hitting space so you could do a third one on how the preds had an alien outbreak on there good old home planet thus wiping themshelves out....This in turn explain why humans havent encountered them when we became space faring species

what they should do is just start again from scratch, like with spiderman and batman etc... ignore what went before, don't make it any kind of sequel, and follow the old comic storyline (or that of the novels...)

Rodriguez To Reboot Predator

File this firmly under "rumour" for the moment – but don't let that stop you getting excited / outraged. There's a story online that Robert Rodriguez' Troublemaker Studios will produce a remake of Predator, the quintessential men-in-jungle-vs-alien film.

Robert Rodriguez was rumoured to be working on a Predator 3 years ago, which never came to pass, so he's clearly interested in the franchise. But according to Bloody Disgusting, his team in the reboot would face a "mysterious race of vicious monsters", implying that there might be more than one of the alien hunters around.

There's no script as yet – that reference above comes from a pitch going out to writers – but it certainly looks like this is a possibility. So: is this a sexual Tyrranosaurus of an idea? Or should we all get to da choppa?

Multiple predators sounds like a good idea.

Yeah never really had that in the original predator movies apart from the ones that are at the end of pred 2

I'm not against multiple predators. Although, i think having multiple Predators, depending on the script could make the Predator seem less intimidating.

I know it was only a rumour but i reakon Robert Rodriguez would be good for a predator movie he's at least well known with a few good movies under his belt unlike the people they've been getting to do the AVP movies.

I don't understand why there hasn't already been a film with several predators onscreen. They're suppose to hunt in packs, and on occasion test their strengths against eachother.

Christ, i would take Rodriguez over special effects artists (avp2). 😂

avp2 seemed like a low budget straight to DVD movie 😬
