I respect Superman as one of the best Superheroes there is, but I dislike seeing characters overhyped. The debators of this forum are notorius for overhyping Superman.
He still is pretty damn Super. But to be honest, back then he just did more bs.
And it is almost impossible to have a debate about Superman without someone bringing up pr-crisis or prime.
Yeah. King Thor is basically Odin in a Thor-shaped package right? lol.
And going back to normal Thor...
I believe that he would take Supes down 6/10. Maybe 7/10.
Half of me keeps leaning to Supes, but there's some good arguments being put forth for Thor n I seem stuck out on a limb here, lol.
I still think WW would stand a better chance at Thor than Supes would.
That would be a fight to rock the heavens.

What's harder? Pushing a car or lifting it?
Quite true. I think Superman is faster and stronger than Thor but that hammer just outclasses big blue, no denying that. Not to mention his ability to create dimesional rifts.

There is a site that says he can travel half the speed of light and lift 250,000 tons.
Thor's speed is said to be at escape velocity... since more than likely you don't know how fast that is, its 25,000 mph. 25,000 mph or about 7 miles per second. Light travels at 186,000 miles per second. So Superman travels at half that... 93,000 miles per second. Ok now Thor 7 miles per second or Superman 93,000 miles per second.... yea thats close. I guess he could cause a dimensional rift but I think that would count of running away.
Superman is gradually becoming more and more powerful, if you look at what he can do through all of his comic books you would see that.
It all started in Man Of Steel #30 (Feb. 94), where he knocked out Lobo with only one blow. In this issue, he also, discovered that he was faster than a space ship and did not need an oxygen mask in order to stay in space for a long period of time. In order to get his powers back under controll the Parasite had to drain a portion of them... but he continues to get stronger the more sun light he absorbs. The following are more recent instances of when he showed increases of power.
1. Superman #112, He flies all the way to Mars with no need of oxygen mask.
2. In Superman #171, he travels in deep space without an oxygen mask.
3. In Action Comics #782, he moves Warworld all by himself.
4. Superman #108, Superman -in order to save Mope, who was put in a rocket traveling at hyperspeed going to Krypton so he could be judged by the tribunal- Superman follows the rocket at a same speed (see page 19), but could not travel faster than the rocket so he could save him.
- Hyperspeed is atleast 5 times the speed of sound. Ok so facts are facts... Thor wont be quick enough to come up with a plan before he is hit by a 300 lb Kryptonian who is able to lift 250,000 tons while he is going 93,000 miles per second.
Thor had the hammer against the Hulk and did not stand a chance. Hulk is slower than Superman... fighting hand to hand with a hammer is a little different when your opponent is going 93,000 mps.
So you know... Superman did lift the hammer before... so did Wonder Woman... like probably one of the most just and good heroes ever in comics is not worthy enough to lift Mjolnir.
You were also right... he pushed the moon... space is weightless but its still affected by gravity... last I checked the moon does not change its orbit very easily. But maybe I am wrong.
I think we should change this fight because its not Thor vs Superman... its Mjolnir vs. Superman... pretty much Thor is Mjolnir's sidekick. Thor should move to DC and join the Titans.
