Wait I saw this comic but then I saw them capture them later on with Bizzaro and Batzarro having to save them. That's right I said Batzarro.

I saw all of the Thor feats from the 60's 70's, and thought "Well, it's a wrap, Thor wins.", then this guy comes in and says Thor isn't capable of that anymore.
What a jerkass>>ahh, whatever would i do without the love of my adoring public . . .
😄
yeah you are right man those scans are outta date.. Thor has become massively MORE powerful since...thanks for bringing that up

Thor's magical powers are very high.Mjolnir is one of the most powerful magical artifacts in the MU, Thor himself showed he can summon magical lightnings during the Ragnarok saga, like when he battled Geirrodur and when he battled Durok the Wrecker, he created a ground zero explosion with his magical lightning, turning into dust most of the troll army that was attacking an Asgardian village, and he done it without Mjolnir. With Mjolnir, he can create blasts of magical energy sufficients to make a weakned but still considerably powerful Galactus running for his life, something that THANOS against a weakned Galactus wasn't able to do, even blasting him at full force.Thor’s fighting ability as a 4 (Experienced Fighter), with 7 being the highest. “What?” Thor has thousands of years of fighting experience and yet he isn’t even a master of a single form of combat. Mere mortals such as Captain America and Wolverine outrank Thor’s fighting ability by 3 whole levels.
They outrank him cause they are martial artist, and that's how Marvel gives the rank of the fighting ability, on martial arts knowledge, but considering who is Thor, that's kinda no sense, one of the crap things done by Marvel, like recent upgrades to various characters to put them on par with D.C. Characters.Superman is extremely much stronger than Thor. Post-crisis (not Pre-crisis) Superman’s maximum bench-press strength is listed as 250,000 tons (when using his telekinetic abilities) while Thor’s maximum press strength is around 100 tons. This is a 2,500% difference. Superman’s maximum speed is 60,000 mph (flight – atmosphere), 300,000,000 mph (flight – space, about half the speed of light), and 30,000 mph (running) while Thor’s maximum speed is on average 200mph (running), 25,000 mph (flight -- atmosphere and space), and infinite (inter-dimensional travel through portals formed by Mjolnir).
Also, Thor is nowhere near invulnerable as Superman is. Thor’s flesh and bone density is about 3 times that of human tissue. His flesh is a consistency 5-7 times stronger than regular Kevlar. This fact is estimated from the facts: (1) Hulk’s skin is a consistency 8-10 times stronger than kevlar and (2) Hulk is always a level above Thor in the durability stat. Now imagine Thor, with this durability level, getting hit by a 225lb. baseball-sized cannonball traveling at 30 times faster than a rifle’s bullet and that has nearly no give or loss of velocity at impact. This is about 30,000 times the momentum of the rifle’s bullet. Superman will literally punch a gapping hole in the Asgardian. Thus there is no way that Thor can withstand Superman’s might. This the most foolish reply ever made, maybe.
Thor's physical strenght is around 100 tons.
LOL@around.
Thor substained:
The entire Brooklyn Bridge on his back, avoiding it from collapsing.
A huge section of the JFK Airport
Lifted the Jormungand Serpent
Dented Captain's America shield.Superman has 2 levels of invulnerability, better saying 2kinds.
Force Field
This FF is around all his body, like a second skin, is hella powerful and can be penetrated only by huge physical forces or energy attacks of high magnitude.Body Density
His body is denser than that of a human, and this give him addictional resistance, thanks to his solar absorption powersThor has 1 kind of invulnerability
Is body is over 3times denser than that of other Asgardians, cause he's the son of Odin an Gea, he's the most powerful Asgardian except for Odin, cause he's born from the union of 2powerful beings making him hella resistant and strong, and with the gift of summoning lightnings, thunders, storms, rain, etc.Comparing Thor's body to kevlar is like comparing a Superbike to an armchair with wheels.
Thor's body substained:
Nuclear Strike at point blank distances
Full force ionic blasts from Ultron over 20times of his normal level of power thanks to Scarlet's magic.
Hits from Silver Surfer, Hulk, Thanos, Hercules, Gladiator, Ulik, Ultron, Superman himself, Beta Ray Bill just to pick up some heavyweights he fought with.Hulk's body substained same kind of injuries, but he's hasn't superior durability, he just heal faster, thanks to the gamma radiation that accelerated his healing abilities.
But saying his body is 7/8 times kevlar is really fun, Hulk's body is one of the toughest organic things on the planet, kevlar is like paper compared to it.
Gladiator, Silver Surfer, and other enemies speedblitzed Thor, and for example SS and big G do it at obviously high speed, and Thor's head wasn't shattered, cause he's more resistant than you are just ASSUMING, you need to buy some issues of Thor and learn something before posting facts that are no sense.Thor's speed with Mjolnir is escape velocity, into the atmosphere, cause higher speeds will cause damages, in the space, he was able to fly at speeds that surpassess those of starships like those of the Kree or Shi'Ar
Thor's ground speed was rarely showed, he's not a Superman clone so he doesn't perform always speedblitzs, but I've see him speedblitzing Hulk and hitting him with a flurry of punches, and Hulk has superhuman speed and durability too.
Thor's reflexes are very high, he deflected/absorbed attacks with Mjolnir like cosmic power blasts, lasers, microwaves, nuclear bursts, light blasts, etc. and you must be fast to see fast attacks coming and parry/deflect it.Thus there is no way that Thor can withstand Superman’s might.
It's just your fanboy opinion.Thor survived to many fights, Superman is not gonna killing him. Also What can tell you that Thor will wait until Supes is in close quarter distances and smash his mouth with Mjolnir?
Marvel had Thor do these things to sell comics. Marvel has always been inconsistant with exact power descriptions to what the character does in the comics. Remember the writers are not always looking at the facts (or don't always care)- they just want to make money. Even if that means stretching the truth to a large degree. This is why I use exact power descriptions to support my view. Lastly, many of the great feats Thor has done is pretty old. If one uses these moments for Thor then it is only fair to use pre-crisis Superman to argue. This Superman had no limits. He was like a supreme god ( can travel faster than light, travel through time, wrench mountains apart with bare hands, hurl spaceships to other galaxies, hurl planets, create stars, destroy stars and solar systems with a single breath, etc.)

This one is pure Gold.
But for the lowest of reasons. Its that bad.
What a caracter can do, with bad writting, including high and lows examples -or- not its what it shows up in the comics.
That works for every single character.
And in case you didnt -noticed-, comics are a commercial medium between other things. The porpuse its to " marvel " the reader and sell.
<<yeah you are right man those scans are outta date.. Thor has become massively MORE powerful since...thanks for bringing that up>>
discounting rune thor and king thor, if you think he's MORE powerful, you should read more. haven't seen him stopping time with his hammer lately, or throwing lighting bolts with his hands. nor have i seen him transmuting elements like he used to be able to do, or even better -- i wonder if he could nowadays walk up to magneto and simply absorb his power as he did WAYYY back. i wonder if he's still capable of throwing his hammer at 2x the speed of light, or healing people with it!? there are about a dozen mother examples i could bring up, but why bother. back in the 60's his hammer was capable of nearly anything -- now his powers have solidified and there is a limit to what you will see it do.
back in the day his hammer was very like pre-c supes.
What is to keep Superman from sucking the air out of his lungs like he did against The Elite the televised encounter? Does Thor need to breathe?
Or doing the the heat vision through the eye to melt his brain thing similar to the lobotomy he did on Manchester Black from across the battlefield?? I'm sure he needs a brain.
Think depends on how fight starts ,Thor has a magical hammer it could take out supes eventually but thor couldnt stand a lightspeed barrage of superman strength level blows, whoever gets the first lick in would have the best chance. I think thor has better chance than hulk any day due to magic that would weaken Superman much more than just a fist of strength. But I would bet on Supes if I was forced to lay down money. LOL
