Thor vs Superman

He's not really a hybrid. His real mother is Gaea. That's why he's so much stronger than the rest of the Asgardians.

Thor wins this fight. Magic vs. a guy weak to magic equals the win.

The thing is it wouldn’t really matter if Superman is weak to magic or not.

Godforce etc will K.o almost anyone.

The only thing that would give superman some wins would be his speed. Thor is no slowfoke but still..

You asked for superspeed, and you got it. 😉 Thor moves at the speed of lightnining (which is still a bit slower than Supes, but it's pretty damn fast.)

Superman is faster than Thor, but not significantly.

All I got was "almost" faster than the human eye.

Which would be superspeed....

Don't you see the multiple images? 😛

Almost faster than the human eye is alot slower than a bullet.....................

Not so. It's possible to trace a bullet with the human eye.

Besides, you asked to see Thor using Superspeed, not proof that he's was faster than or as fast as Superman.

Besides, on Earth, Superman doesn't move much faster than a bullet.

Considering he dug what was described as an "awesome scar" into the side of that mountain in order to avert a lava flow that from that picture looked like it would've engulfed the entire town, to me it doesn't look like anything to scoff. I'm not surprised the naked eye could follow some what was going on in the creation of that ditch.

Hi whirly. 😉

hello CC 🙂

Thor's maximum reflexive speed is the speed of lightining. While Superman may be faster, that's good enough to keep up with him in a fight.

It was stated somewhere that in a new handbook it says that Thors top running speed is 100 MPH.

The fastest I remember Superman running was OVER 2000 miles per second in Flash #209.

Handbook's shm-andbooks.

Besides, 100 mph certainly isn't "almost faster than the human eye can trace," especially from a distance.

Since when do they include running speed in the handbooks? They usually use a chart. 😬

Superman fixed a giant cage in the time in took him to say one sentence.

So what else has Thor done to make you guys think he is close to Superman in speed?

Thor is a freaking god, he has godly speed and reflexes. It's been stated many times he as swift as lighting. Even hela said his running speed/reflexes are beyond comprehension.

Yea well thats nice.

Lets see some scans now or something.

"Handbook's shm-andbooks."

Im with you on this. Handbooks are used for what exactly? They have errors regarding the comics. Always had and always will have.

Thor is - not - faster than Superman, but he is more than fast to fight him. Especially where combat speed is concerned.

What i find ironic is that Thor was moving faster than Supes and Doomsday did in DOS, in the scan i posted and yet pll still have the notion he has no superspeed whatsoever.

Im not denying Thors speed. But compare Thors speed feats to Supermans and its not really close.

Its enough for a -fight-, wich is what its being discussed here.

This is not a running match.
