Thor vs Superman

Started by Fanboy453 pages

Okay the post before I was about to say that it was only the hammer hitting Galactus not Thor holding the hammer and hitting him. Huh I wonder what would have happened if Superman had thrown it at full strength.

Thor still wins, Thor has more raw ability and power over superman.

More raw power yes

Superman has more ability

But Thor can possible to any of these attacks:

God force--------Superman would be killed
Absorb his Solar Energy-----------Now Thor can absorb supes solar energy (possibly)
Just normal hammer attacks -------- will do a lot of damage

Now Superman

Speed -------- this is the key factor if thor can’t handle supes speed he is done. ( in the past he has shown he could take speed at supes level ,,,,,, and other times well……&#8230😉

All other aspect such as Strength, etc will go to Superman but Thor is not far behind.

i say 6-7 for thor.

When has Thor ever absorbed energy that wasn't directed towards him?

Wasn't Kang attacking them though?

The greatest

Superman is one of the biggest heroes out there, and the animosity alone shows this. He has his haters, but the way i look at the character, that is superman is that no matter how badly beaten he gets he WILL win! it seems to be a way of inspiring everyone into seeing that if you believe in yourself enough you can defeat your problem.

Lol yes i thought about it, but it does make sense into what he is and stands for as a character and as Superman. Which is another reason why people hate the idea, but he just makes it so.

Thor still wins.

Agreed...

People need to understand that Thor is more powerful and a better fighter than superman. If you take their abilities currently and feats Thor smashes superman in every category superman might have the speed advantage but still that will not help superman at all.

Think about it if Thor wanted to kill superman he can very easily. Either with the god-force blast or the hammer, the hammer has destroyed a planet with one blow so just imagine Thor hitting superman with all of his might, it will not be a pretty sight. IMO

agreed....

haven't we all agreed in this forum that thor take's the majority against supes.

MAgic .......... hmm...... TIE !!

Thor almost killed the Presence, a living nuclear reactor by absorbing all of his power into Mjolnir and stopped cause Starlight told him she could save the Avengers and all the other people which were transformed into radioactive zombies.
And Presence was just trying to counter the process shielding himself, only to see his power, his whole lifeforce being absorbed, effortlessy, by Thor.
This happened shortly before Kang assaulted and conquered the Earth, and let me say, Thor could saved the whole planet alone even if all of the Avengers were imprisoned.
His hammer is not gonna be stopped from Kang's technology, even if so advanced.1 godforce blast, or anti-force or anti-matter could have destroyed Kang's ship, plus him, his army and his son.But the saga would have lasted about 3 pages.

Plenty have tried to drain Supes and failed. Superman goes against energy wielders often and none drain him. His body processes solar radiation too quickly and has too many stores to do it now.

As for the fight, I think Superman still wins. His speed is far greater than Thor's, I think Supes can freeze Thor's arms giving Superman a big advantage by knocking away Thor's weapon, Superman's Heat Vision (it's not as strong as Thor's godblast, but it gets the job done and could counter most of Thor's offensive range attacks) is fast and powerful enough to put Thor down. Supes should be able to dodge blows, dodge the hammer, and beat Thor to the punch.

I saw a comic recently, can't think of the name of it, but supergirl just left back home, and he got his energy drained rather easily. I can't think of what was used however.

Hmm a vibrator?

It was Blackrock. I don't think it's been said what the power was, but Superman's powers don't work on the person, leading one to believe it's magical in essence -- he hurt his hand punching Blackrock in their first enounter. He got the power to pull away from the wielder [who was only wielding a tiny portion of whatever power] by using heat vision in the BURN!! issue of Superman. In the latest encounters, not even that worked, and Blackrock has beat up everyone in the DCU she's run across, until Superman trapped her in a lead lined room got the Blackrock to run from her, leaving her powerless.

Once again, as was said earlier on this page, Superman goes against energy drainers often enough, and it doesn't put them on top.
