Thor vs Superman

Started by Jason8200453 pages

Captain Marvel hit Superman with numerous magical lightning bolts and Superman was still standing... then they got an atomic bomb dropped on them and Superman lived... Captain Marvel did not.

Thor would not know automatically Superman was hurt by magic. Superman would know automatically that Mjolnir was the source of most of Thor's powers... He could take advantage of that before Thor could take advantage of Superman's weakness.

There is no way they are nearly as strong... An Island? Or WarWorld?

godblast will kill superman again. Death of Superman part II

godblast anit no joke ...yoke.

Captian Marvel is not Thor.

Thor would use the godly essence blast just for the hell of it.

How would Superman possibly know that Mjolnir is Thor's power source? You act like Mjolnir is Thor's weakness

He pushed (not to be confused with lifted,) Warworld in what issue?

Thor will put on the belt of strength and will be twice as strong as superman. Thor magic is different from captain marvels, captain marvel uses lighting bolts thor uses cosmic and mystical energy blast combination their is a big differnices their in power.

Thor's magic is divine. It is way more powerful than anything Captain Marvel could muster.

true double C.

wtf

Where has this ever been stated in the history of comics? Again as i've seen all the way through this thread its entirely ur opinion.

Ok, for sum reason u think this is nothing impresive, it is. Why dont u try 'pushing' a boeing 747 (which is the equvalent to superman pushing warworld). Because at most Superman can lift say 250,000 tons and a planet of warworld size weighs so much more than that. Earth weighs 5.972 sextillion (5,972,000,000,000,000,000,000) metric tons, ignoring the theory of relativity. Even if warworld was half the size of earth thats roughly about 2900,000,000,000,000 metric tons, I'd like to see Thor do that.

Point is Cosmic Cube u dont really show much facts, most of the time its just ur opinion.

AHEM...
First Anf Foremost... Magee... You Da Man...
OK... Second... Thor And Captain Marvel's Marvels Power Are, In An Essence, Routed From The Same Kind Of Power... The Whole Mythological Thing... God Of Thunder... Power Of The Gods... Its Pretty Much The Same Thing (Greek, Roman And Norse Mythologies Are Pretty Similiar) Thors Power Divine... LOL... How Do You Think Thor Is?
You Act Like Hes Friggin Archangel Michael...
Thor Using The Godforce Right Away? Yeah Right... And Superman Does Know That Thors Power Routes From Mjionir(I Can Never Spell That $hit) There Is A Thor In DC... And Superman Has Fought Him... Thor Has No Prior Knowledge Of Superman... Superman Does... Superman Is Absolutely Stronger That Thor (LMAO Thor Picked Up The Midgard Serpernt... LOLOLOLOL!! Ridiculous) You Act As If Superman Doesnt Fight Magical Beings... Yeah He Has A Weakness To Magic... But It Doesnt Mean Hes Done Because Of It... It Just Means Hes Gonna Have To Fight Alot Smarter... Hes Already Taken A Hit From Mjiornir... He Lived... Then Proceeds To Spank Thor A Little Blond Bimbo... Not To Knock Thor... Thor Is Great... I Especially Like Ultimates Thor... But Hes Outclassed By Superman...

There have been people who have pulled commercial jets over one hundred feet. However, I am not one of those people.

It is an impressive feat, no doubt. However, pushing a planet using flight is simply not the same as lifting the weight of a planet. I'd like to see Thor do that too. Unfortunately, he cannot fly. He can only be pulled by Mjolnir.

An island weighs much more than 250,000 tons, so Thor and Superman are easily in the same league of strength. Put on the belt of strength, and Thor's strength is magnified several times. If Thor could fly like Superman does, there is no doubt in my mind he could push a planet.

Just my opinion. 🙂

He never got hit by a Godblast, or the Odinforce. That would certainly put Superman under. Only reason Superman wins in that crossover is that DC doesn't want their main man losing to a Marvel second stringer. If Thor fights to the best of his ability, (which he will in this fight,) Superman goes down in minutes. Just ask David Duchovony, and he loves Superman.

Yea i remember watching some one on TV pulling a boeing with a harnest round him, pretty cool. That was a bad example but it wasnt the point.

Thor would go all out but so would Superman. He sure as hell wouldnt hold back when fighting Thor, but he wouldnt go as far as to kill him.

pushing a planet is not the same as lifting a planet, thor if he could fly would be able to do that easily.

Why does everyone seem to assume Thors lame magic is on par with Dr. Stranges?

i dont know, maybe because thors lame magic is from the highfather, Odin? Odin isnt powerful at all is he?
those fools!

Do you ever see him cast spells or pull rabbits out of his @ss?

well, you dont see much of Odin at all, so i cant say.
maybe Odin is a closet rabbit-in-the-ass god.

I was talking about Thor

Dudes i'm tired of this even Dan jurgens admitted that Superman won't stand a chance against Thor for his magical elements.

Defination of magic:

mag·ic (mãj'ĭk)
n.
1.The art that purports to control or forecast natural events, effects, or forces by invoking the supernatural.

2a.The practice of using charms, spells, or rituals to attempt to produce supernatural effects or control events in nature.

2b.The charms, spells, and rituals so used.

3.The exercise of sleight of hand or conjuring for entertainment.

4.A mysterious quality of enchantment.

Dr. Strange fall under 2a

You are speaking of 3.

Thor comes under 4.

Dan J. admitts Superman wont "stand a chance" against Thor and I admitt Thor wont beat Superman. That is the way of things.
