I think for me it was the consistency, strength-wise. Supes will go toe-to-toe and beat Doomsday, or Wonder Woman, or Darkseid, or Captain Marvel, or Konvikt (okay, he didn't beat him solo, but according to him he was hitting with enough force to shatter planetoids), etc, constantly. Sometimes Thor does well against Hulk physically, and sometimes not. And most times he gets his ass physically kicked by Kurse or Mangog or the Destroyer, etc.

Superman has defeated dozens of supervillains using his strength alone. Thor can't win a fight without his lame hammer.

That's because he has no feats that put him over Thor. The most anyone can say is that they are equals.
So Superman has more strength consistency? Thor constantly holds his own against the Hulk, Silver Surfer, Hercules and the likes. Thor has that too. His level of power has been portrayed as planet shattering on various occasions. Hell, even the Thor lite Beta Ray Bill has been shown to be on that level.
Show me one time Thor doesn't do well physically against Hulk. I have all the fights on hand if you want.
Getting you're ass kicked by Kurse, Mangog and the Destroyer is a bad thing? Kurse is built to be 4 times stronger than Thor. Of course Thor would physically be man handled. Mangog is Mangog. His a beast, and even the recent most version was only put down by Thor with an Anti-Force blast. His never been able to take on Mangog, and defeat him physically. The Destroyer? Are you serious? You're basing consistency on him being overpowered, and defeated by beings that are clearly portrayed as his superior?

Name a few, hell name one, that puts him clearly above Thor. For everyone of Superman's feats, Thor has his own to match. Baseless in my opinion. Lol. Show me Superman's so called better striking feats.
Whatever strength combat related feat? I've read plenty of Superman, and plenty of Thor, and I've yet to see these so called feats. Mjolnir only adds so much blunt force damage. Even without it, his shown planet rocking, and destroying strength.
What's you're point with the Hulk and Thor fight reference?
Don't forget that in his fights with Hulk, Thor holds back his strength and most of his power as he has stated. Him being mortal, and the entire rage thing.
