If by absorb you mean shrug off, then sure, why not? He did the same to a combined punch from John and Clark. Thor would then follow up with a Mjolnir bash that caves Clark's head in, at speeds two times faster than light.
Well, recently, Rulk was able to absorb the Hulk's strength. Unfortunately, due to how much power he contained, he couldn't drain the Hulk completely. Something he can clearly do to any Hulk. Even the herald version of World Breaker.

Actually, they really put Hulk over in that issue. I mean a mini nuke explosion and Hulk emerges saying "Bah, that's all you got?" Not to mention all the other events.
I have a feeling Thor and Hulk will be meeting sooner or later. As good ole JR would say "It's gonna be a slobber knocker!"
