MK isn't about killing your opponent in gruesome ways. There's more to MK than just that. You forget it's a FIGHTING game series. Instead of complaining about how they toned down the violence, you should at least play the game and see how much an improvement it has over the last three in gameplay. I mean, that's really more important.

So nobody else is mad at all about Europe gettin the more violent lookin version of the game?

Don't really care. If I had a choice between the two then I would get the EU version but I'm not mad that I can't get it.

But I'll admit, this game's gameplay looks a bit better than the previous games.

I understand that the fighting looks friggin awesome on many levels, but the only thing that's missing is kick ass finishers. Raiden and GL's finishers look sick but Superman and Flash's just plain suck and here you thought you'd expect better coming from the man of steel.

It's gonna steal fans just simply because it's more violent? That makes no sense. Do you really think any sane person would throw away money on a game JUST for the blood and gore? C'mon, lets be realistic. Besides, as already stated, these games are completely different. It's highly uncommon to steal fans of a different genre.

but the special moves for the characters has always been what they used to add to their games as a core feature. Theres are ussally the most varried out of the few games that still even have them

Did I mention specials? No I didn't but at the same time, you can't deny that MK was the first of many things. Also, every fighting game today has at least one feature that disguishes them from other fighters so what's the deal with MK?

What's the big deal about MK is that the fans are so angry, it's completely off the charts. Midway had a chance to make this game violent but the ESRB went and became a di** about it and now the Europeans get to enjoy the violent MKvsDC while we're playing the less violent one so that's the big deal about MK. ESRB made Midway neutre the title.

Not all MK fans prefer blood and gore over gameplay. Infact, if you played the MK games just for the blood and gore then you weren't really a fan to begin with. The gameplay matters the most. I mean, heck I don't see how you can even call yourself a gamer if blood and gore is all you care for.
