i did ask people to say why they think the forum should or shouldnt exist, what i didn't ask for was the thread to turn into a sniping contest, because frankly, if thats how its going to be, then people are better off doing as i'd asked imo...

Raoul, the ladies don't understand that we dudes are just simple folk trying to get through the day. 😛 Just go with it. I don't think a few loose threads and the activity on those threads is a good barometer for a new forum. A forum is seen from the main menu and has several threads for discussion. Other people disagree and I'm fine with dissenting voices.

I do agree however that as mods we maybe all should take some things to the lounge or PMs. Those socks and trolls can smell division in the ranks! rednuts
