Maybe other people like me don't know how to add to the argument so kept quiet.
Star Trek transcends all of Sci Fi. Without Star Trek, there are many sci fi shows that would not have made it. There is way too much of Star Trek to talk about. I sincerely hope that Raz oks at the very least a trial run for a Trek forum. I believe it will thrive and therefore merit a permanent place here on KMC. All the fans and non fans will be able to find it on a daily basis and continually post. I wouldn't have a problem talking to people that don't like Star Trek, as I would try to assimilate them into a wondrous world. Other than a 6ft tall woman, Star Trek is my true love.

Which was something I pointed out tends to happen - people will vote for the forum and then never even post in it. I'm not at all surprised.
