So then why even bring it up that he could absorb it. He did it to Hulk right? SS fanboys keep making exduses for him. Gl wouldnt have any trouble keeping up with him at lightspeeds either.

GL has a human brain that cannot think or react faster than about 30 m/s (a thought's speed is measured by how long it takes for an electronic impulse to cross the brain.)
The Silver Surfer can think, react, move, punch, kick, and fly at speeds far greater than light. GL cannot contend with such speed.
A solid power cosmic blast will shatter that shield. Or a solid adamantium punch could break through it, or he could simply fly into him with his surfboard at light speed, that will shatter it. If Doomsday's fist can shatter it, I don't see why an adamantium punch or surfboard going at light speed wouldn't shatter it.
