Hal also has cosmic awareness. SS wont be sneaking up on him at all. Dont even bother to bring that up.

The man was able to catch Flash, where even Superman couldnt.

Yeah, right. It's pretty hard to believe the first part of your post.

Regardless, if Hal want's to give himself any power, he has to imagine it first. Imagination requires thought. Thought requires time. Time that he doesn't have.

How often does Surfer speed blitz someone? I doubt he even does it since he's a pacifist and all. So speed blitzing Hal is out of character as you guys say in the Superman vs Hulk thread.
