And do you know that the remainding Oan energy isnt much? Compared to that of what it used to be? Parallax has most of it, and Thanos nor Kyle can get it from him. Thanos was going to try to And Kyle didnt want Hal to end up dead. Thanos didnt even get that far.
Kyle is an insect to Thanos, yes BUT the power that Kyle posseses which is the ring, is the greatest power in the universe.
Thanos only had a small portion of Oa's energy. He wanted the "REMAINING ENERGY" Parallax already had most of it. Thanos was only getting a small portion. Just as Parallax only got a small portion of the "POWER COSMIC"

You obviously know nothing about the GL/Parallax story.
Thanos had to get the energies from the ring. Oa's energies give the ring power. And there was only a small portion left.
