GL Hal Jordan vs Silver Surfer

What I'd like to know is where's the example of SS stopping time and becoming negative radiant energy?

kgkg was implying that Kyle gave Thanos ALL the power of Oa in its full entirety. I was just saying that it was only the left over small portion of it. And thats why he was giving it through the ring because Kyles ring is powered by a small piece of the original central power battery.

Thanos absorbed ansmall portion of Oa, and Parallax absorbed a small portion of the Power Cosmic. Thats all i was saying.

Green Lantern is very versatile, and powerful, but the Silver Surfer has the advantage in this fight.

I suppose it's possible for him to win, but it certainly isn't as likely as Surfer winning.

The Surfer could very easily shatter his defensive shield.

Forget absorbing energy, period. Let's talk about a real fight.

No one in ths fight has the advantage. Hal nor Surfer.

Anyone can win. Why is it that Surfer is more likely to win when theyre powers are so similar?

Gl's defensive shield isnt that easily shattered. How wuld the Surfer easily shatter it?

The strength of the shield depends on the weilders will power. And just for agrguements sake, lets say it is broken Hal would be able to put up another one.

You're being pretty specific. Surfer can control time, and he can transform himself into energy as well.

A GL can use the ring to make him physically stronger. Guy used to do it all the time. He even fought Superman in hand to hand combat.

He can lift more than 100 tons. He rarely uses strength, however.

I most certainly feel the surfer would beat the lantern.GL may have the most powerful weapon in the universe.But the surfer was made by the almighty Galactus,and possesses the powers of a god.GL would put up a hell of a fight though

Hal cannot react, or move remotely as fast as the Silver Surfer can. Not even the Flash reacts nearly as fast as the Silver Surfer.

The Surfer is much more maneuverable than Hal.
