No, you said it reminds you of it, so therefore they must be similar right?

Thanos' gun would work on Superman as the Im easily contained him in an energy field. His gun didnt work on Odin because he tried it and it failed. Odin is the baddest skyfather out there though.
This is because the gun reminds you of Infinity man right? LOL

Again you try to make this personal but thats fine. I could care less. I really dont respect your opinion at all and think your so Superman/Borg biased anyways.
So you state that you don't respect my opinion, and yet it's not personal to you?
Nonsensical logic like this is why you've been a joke for so long.

Your questions were answered long ago. Your bias and denial in all of this are what's hampering you.

Cyclops beams = Thanos beams then?
Ok, ok...I'm done...I'm not going to keep kicking a grown man while he's down.
Avlon, I asked you a question uhuh

Thanos mentioned that Thor was growing too strong for the gun to keep in check and that sooner or later he would break out. Borg shouldn't play around, the stuff he used to restrain herald level guys won't hold Thor for long.Avlon: I've always wondered though, does Borg tire when he creates new weapons and such? Does look like it taxes him, but I suppose you would know better than me.
Originally posted by AvlonThe gun and the Infinity Man both impresoned someone within an energy field. the gun you posted about does nothing of the sort. Yet you try to make a faulty comparison and say this guy will defeat Thor. You then criticize me for making the claim that both were energy fields.

I respond personally when I am attacked. You attack me all the time avlon. I try to be civil but will respond when you post things like we are all laughing at you. Its totally disrespectful. Then when I respond back telling you my feelings you want to play sudden victim.
Again energy fields can hamper Thor for only so long while I have seen no scans of any guns doing what Thanos's gun did to Thor. Your gun scan wasnt anything like Thanos's gun yet you make this comparison. Thanos used an energy field just like that the Im used an energy field.
The rings seemed to do dick for Hank, if we're honest with ourselves.
Assuming he used them to their potential, I'd say he would very easily take the win here.
Assuming that he doesn't....
Well, he may be able to pull out a 'Thanos-gun' type of win, but I don't honestly see him putting Thor down for the count.

Dayum son! I was getting to you. 😛I've never seen Borg taxed by creating or using any of his weapons. In fact, he seems to get a thrill out of it.
Thor would have a really hard time then.
He can pour out physical punishment all day, but Borg should be capable of taking him out before Thor becomes strong enough to kill him. Thor w/ power gem was growing non stop, he went from fighting the Infinity Watch to taking on Thanos. Unfortunately he needs to grow a lot before he can deal any damage that comes close to killing Borg.
In my opinion: Borg starts out with superior offensive capabilities and Thor doesn't use any of his versatility. There is no way a brick is taking down Borg, NO way.

Agreed. The sheer versatiliy of all that tech, Superman level stats and abilities, and ring potential bogles the mind.
Thor's speed hasn't improved any, so if Thanos had time to run for his gun, using speed to take the gem from him shouldn't be a problem in a PIS free situation either.

I never said that the power itself was comparable
Yeah you did:

but the energy field used to contain Superman reminds me of Thanos' guns energy field that contained Thor. It is very similar. Pay attention what was said and dont take what I said out of context next time.
So because it looks similar it IS similar?
Argument From Spurious Similarity
"There is a WW II story about a British lady who was trained in spotting German airplanes. She made a report about a certain very important type of plane. While being quizzed, she explained that she hadn't been sure, herself, until she noticed that it had a little man in the cockpit, just like the little model airplane at the training class. "

So again, would you like some apple juice? They look the same so they must BE the same.
I'd really recommend against drinking the stuff that looks like apple juice in the bottle labeld Pine Sol. It may look like apple juice but its no where close to being apple juice.
Its a fallicious argument Quan.

being new here, i find it disappointing that some posters make themselves look a fool and then don't know it. that is the worst kind of gobbdegook.
Originally posted by CreshoskThe end result is the same. They are both energy fields. Of course they are different characters using it.

Again the scan avlon put up was completely different than the energy containment block. It wasnt anything similar so thus I dont believe this waepon could put Thor down.
You are arguing over a comparison I made which has little to nothing to do with the actual thread, I made a comparison which you have a problem with. I am fine wit that as it has little to do with the actual thread itself. 🙂
