Errr? Even I have even edited bios on the website, so yeah you can but you need enough hero points.

I'll look into that, cause when I tried to do it, (a member for 2 years now)
I was sent to a page explaining only Marvel staff can edit the bio sections.

Anyway,
the Infinity Gauntlet Handbook bio is exactly the same as the one at the site,
so I can't see someone going in there,
and writing everything in the actual Handbook word for word on that page,
on coincidence.

Without a doubt, that Infinity Gems bio at Marvel.com,
is the official bio from the Handbook.

If I have to go into my storage to prove that, I will. 🙂

I actually copied the handbook entry word for word for Diamond Lil, generally that's what most of the entries do. Anyone can edit the page, but if you don't have many hero points there will be no direct changes. The writer/webmasters have to approve your changes, but when you get enough points you can do it without them viewing your edits.

I don't know how it is set up now, but that's how it was set up awhile ago. I got rid of my account as you tend to get 3-4 emails daily from Marvel if you have a lot of hero points.

How many points do you have?

Not exactly.

To the very end,
the Soul Gem was interfering:

The Soul Gem even curses Rune was disturbing its plan with the struggle:

I know that, however, it didn't interfere when he was fighting Surfer at all, unless I missed something in the other book.

And that wasn't interfering, that was curses him. Rune didn't have Gems, so it couldn't have been interfering with anything.

Plus, he had to act now so he could actually get within range of Rune. Otherwise Rune would have closed the hole in space before Surfer could get to him, had he not been distracted.

And either way, it's not like it's going to cut down on the PG's power.

I've read the thing about 50 times already, and it just doesn't get any clearer for me. 😬

I've tried looking everything in the scan, and reading it, etc. I just can't make it clear for myself.

Yea, but I have to go into my storage, to find the corresponding Handbook,
then burn it, then crop it,
then upload it,
then post it on kmc.

I'll hit you up tomorrow though. 🙂

Don't worry about it, I was just saying that you were more than likely going to pull it out at one point in time here.

It must've changed,
perhaps they were bumping into errors due to trusting faceless individuals.

Stuart Vandal, (a Marvel bio writer)
stated over at comixfan, that no one but "writers" can edit bios.

He directed this specifically at me, 😂
cause I poked fun at Marvel.com
because I thought at that time privileged cats could make changes.

I don't know if he meant nowadays as opposed to before,
but that's what he said about 4 months back.

Actually, the Gem was trying to control Rune,
from the moment Rune acquired all 6 Gems:

"Do not cajole me Stone"

.................................................................................

Rune was struggling with the Gem from the beginning, ^^^

to the end:

As we can see, "the beginning to the end" ... was only 4 panels: (on 2 pages)

Rune never stopped struggling with the Soul Gem.

SS wanted to act now because Rune was struggling for control,
that, plus yes,
SS didn't want Rune to escape.

It doesn't make a difference.

If the source of said powers is struggling against it's wielder,
it's going to have an ill-affect on said wielder's ability to harness said source.

I know the Power gem didn't speak directly,
but I can assure you, that the Power Gem, along with ALL the Gems,
were already becoming sentient by this time.

This is why the Soul Gem spoke directly to the other 5 Gems:

The following arc as you know,
is specifically about the Gems and the Sentience they developed.
(they were literally acting independently)

In fact, the finality of these arcs,
was when the Gems took on physical forms.
(which all derived from that first encounter with Rune)

It was only trying to f*ck with Rune. It never effected the other Gems, and Rune still maintained control the whole time. And when Magus was struggling with Warlock, neither's power with the IG faltered a bit... so...

Rune still had control at this time. The only one who acted up yet was the Soul Gem. The other's didn't.
Plus, Rune was able to stop time across the universe, so...

Just cause the Soul Gem didn't speak on the second page,
(second page being a splash page)
doesn't mean it stopped doing, what it was doing from the beginning.

I mean, even when Rune had lost the IG,
the Gem was still reprimanding Rune.

Telling me imo, it never stopped trying to manipulate Rune.

He didn't have the IG at this point,
so it's inconsequential what the Gems did by then.

I disagree.

The Gem spoke with the other Gems,
heck, in the following arc,
the Gems acted independently and manipulated Nemesis' recreation.

After that, they created/uncreated UniverseS on their own,
and finally became physical entities.

This is inconsequential to this debate.

Magus wasn't struggling with another being.

Rune was struggling with the source itself.

I disagree.

The Soul Gem spoke to it's brothers (the other 5 Gems)
and they acknowledged being spoken to, because they listened.

This Rune arc was a prelude as to what the Gems were becoming,

in fact, as to what the Gems became in the next arc:

Don't ask me how they became Gems again for the Illuminati arc,
that's one of those Marvel mysteries.

He only had the Time Gem.

It was once he had formed the IG,
that the Gem tried to take control of Rune.

maybe marvel doesn't consider that story as canon, and that is why the gems are still gems in the marvel u? that is a very reasonable explaination.

Doesn't it?

The Gem was still talking about Rune. Most likely due to the fact that Rune just f*cked him over by losing all the Gems that were in one place. Which is what the Soul Gem wanted.

It tells me he let off. As soon as Surfer came it yelled "NO!". And before that, he could barely function due to the Soul Gem distracting him. After that, he functioned perfectly.

Face it, he was in good condition, and Surfer earned the biggest pis win in comics. 😬
He even said that the IG couldn't stand against the Power Cosmic. 😂

Again, this is inconsequential to Rune's case.

Warlock and Magus were struggling for control of the IG. (source of power)

Rune was struggling with part of the source of power itself. (Soul Gem)

It's not speculation,
The Soul Gem never separated from Rune,
I didn't notice this before,
but the Soul Gem was always on Rune's forehead,
not on the Gauntlet.

It never came off of his forehead,
and it claimed that it was struggling to control Rune the entire time,
and it had finally won."

.........................................................................................

Rune re-enters the Ultraverse after his skirmish with the Silver Surfer:

.........................................................................................

Rune notices the Soul Gem is still attached to his forehead:

"Get out of my soul"

.........................................................................................

Like I said,

the Soul Gem never stopped trying to control Rune during his SS encounter:

"The time for silence is at an end, our battle is over, I am the victor"

.........................................................................................

Here the Soul Gem claims that NO one has ever controlled it,
including Thanos, or Warlock:

Apparently, the Soul Gem has only allowed the illusion of control,
it seems to enjoy exercising it's powers through hosts.

and it added some depth to certain Marvel facts we already know.

There's some solid obscure info across this arc, that, I did enjoy.
