AOTC Obi-Wan vs. TPM Obi-Wan w/Darkside

hahahahahaha!!this is soooo funny!!! it makes me laugh when Star Wars fans are so unbelievably biased that they just look plain dumb!!

I mean stopping the video at the ONLY HIT TPM Obi1 got on Maul during the whole duel!!! and that hit didnt even do much to Maul.. he got right back up and carried on fighting. where as Maul got in many hits on TPM Obi1... most of them put him straight on the floor, or down a pit. Half of them while simultaneously fighting off a Jedi Master, and 2 of them actually disarming him of his weapon!

as for Mauls weapon being split, well so what?? he was still left with a single blade lightsaber, same as what Obi1 had... so all an Enraged Powered Up Obi1 did was even the odds in terms of weapons, and get in his ONLY hit during his WHOLE lightsaber fight with Obi1(and/or Qui-Gon).

Oh yeah and its not a fair comparison to the Dooku fight. because that was Mauls Last lightsaber fight.. hes already been fighting a few rounds.. If a boxer goes down once for a second in 30 seconds of his 5th round, but hes been winning ALL the other rounds, then what does that mean?? absolutely nothing! apart from that maybe hes tiring a bit now so not fighting as well as he was in the first few rounds.

Also Maul took a good hit from Qui-Gon when he landed 2 stories down Flat on his back, so we dnt knw how much that weakend him.

So if it was just Maul vs. TPMObi1... first round for both of them, neither of them injured or tired, then yeah Id give TPMObi1 30 seconds Tops before he gets killed. and 30 seconds is being kind because he won the duel against the enraged Obi1 in Mauls 3rd/4th fight in a row in like 35 seconds.

also sum1 mentioned that if Obi1 was better than Maul then he wuld be better than Mace at the time.. id like to add to that, that if Obi1 was Even Close to Maul, then that would make the Young Obi1 almost a match for Mace Windu at that stage, which is just plain dumb!! so try using just a bit of common sense please!

Mace at the time of the PM, wasnt much better than Qui-Gon. they used to spar and usually draw.

Also Mace hadnt invented Vapaad yet and was a Juyo Master like Maul, but I think(correct me if im worng) the Jedis knowledge of Juyo was very limited compared to the Siths. Part of what lead Mace to create Vapaad, his own more developed Form 7 style.

Darth Maul was lucky as **** that he had one functioning light blade after Kenobi sliced his staff in half.

I once read that the difference between a good martial artist and a bad one is how well they recover from taking a hit. Maul takes a hit (as you note, the ONLY one Kenobi managed to land), bounces back right away and instantly adjusts to using a different weapon style (going from a sabrestaff to a regular one.) Sounds like a very good recovery to me.
