During the Thanos and Odin fight, do you think Odin was giving it his all. Think about this before answering this question and think about the things odin has done during fights.

Considering how inconsistent comic characters can be, yes I do think Odin was bloodlusted from the way he was illustrated.
You can want to kill someone without giving it your 100%. When I stomp on bugs, my intent is clearly to kill them, but I'm not putting forth my ultimate, unleashed potential on said bug. Even when said bug puts up a valiant effort, somehow slipping in the grooves of my sneakers' soles to avoid being smashed to death, enough for me to go "Hey, this bug is tough" I make no illusions over how far beyond I am of said bug.
And last I checked, Thanos couldn't even kill a Bug. sneer

LOL, good post.

I agree but I still dont think he was using his full powers, especially with the people that was right behind him.
Although Odin was clearly the superior the only thing Thanos did manage to do is tank everything Odin threw at him at least for the duration of that battle.
You need to show Odin showing destroying Galaxies to show he was trying his best.

Thanos invading his home , Odin saying he hasn't faced someone like Thanos in many years , and Thanos actually tanking few of his shot and then him having to pull out Gungnir is pretty much saying he was trying to put him down.
So what proof is there that he wasn't trying his best?
Originally posted by carver9If you read Odin's words he wouldn't respect someone he just crushed. Odin wanted him dead. He didn't die. He didn't even take a nap. The point is Odin respected someone he viewed as a great opponent. he didn't view Drax as a great opponent or the Surfer because he actually crushed them. When you crush someone you actually beat them otherwise you're not applying the word correctly here.
Quan, that argument you are using is just stupid (not calling you stupid). Thanos was getting CRUSHED; it was no contest. Odin gave Thanos the opportunity to stand up instead of pressing his attack. It was basically a none fight. Thanos powers did JACK to Odin, he was as pearly as day. I love Thanos but he isnt a contests against Odin. Now if this is at 50% of Odins power, he MIGHT have a chance at pulling at least 2 out of 10.Odin is just to far above Thanos for me to even give him the majority over a Odin that is at 50% power.
Thanos completely dominates Odin at 50 and even beats him at 100 percent.

What can I say? Thanos is a cockroach that can take some punishment.
But he's a cockroach nonetheless in comparison to Odin.
