Unlike Gamora Galactus has a long established history of being a Cosmic Entity with impressive on panel feats. Again, using the logic that since Gamora's weapon is called the Godslayer, has killed an X amount of unknown Gods, she can kill Odin with her weapon, a character with an established history and is heads and shoulders above almost all Gods, is just ridiculous.

No one is placing credit where credit shouldn't be, and I'm not arguing in behalf of whether or not Gamora can kill Odin. It stands to reason with me that she stands no chance. My argument is whether the godslayer is capable of killing Odin, and right now I have seen no reason not to believe that in the right hands, the godslayer is capable of doing it.

And I'm arguing that we need some more concrete proof before we come to the conclusion that the Godslayer in Gamora's hands can kill Odin. Clearly it's not some all powerful one shot weapon and referencing statements where she states she's killed X Gods isn't actually solid evidence. At least not solid enough to claim she can use it to kill the most powerful Skyfather.

Well that's a given. Odin can be killed by a regular sword in the right hands.

Doctor Doom is just that, a title. Your argument is as asinine as someone coming out and claiming that Doctor Doom is a better surgeon than Donald Blake because he has the word "Doctor" in his name.

agreed.. i believe that the knife or any particular type of knife can kill a god the question is under what circumstance and what kinda god a low lvl god or an abstract god?

as of right now a title is not enough to make a claim for either side of the argument..

PS..

doom never finish his medical or scientific education if i recall he was kicked out.. he studies on his own and the title is what he gave himself but it isnt really acknowledgeable to actual doctor/scientist.. no degree

A Thanos clone needed an artifact, Mangog, and poisoning Odin to try and take over Asgard. He did so because he knew the real Thanos got a stomping by the All Father last time he lad foot on Asgard .

An army of ants or something defeated Odin and took him prisoner and broke his spirit. The guy's soft while Thanos even while mindless destroyed a force that dwarfed the forces that crushed Odin, mentally and physically.

Yes, a clone with spare time bossed around an ancient asgardian enemy and laughed in Odin's face. The real deal doesn't waste his time on just asgard.

Show me what actually gods it has actually killed. It's called the Godslayer. That's absolutely fine. It however needs to do more before you can claim it can kill Odin. Claiming that something or someone is equivalent to what's in it's or there title is asinine.
