It's obvious the clone was wrong.
Oh, obviously Thanos would've beaten or stalemated Odin had that fight continued. Let's just disregard the shit-trashed look Thanos has going on in those pages you posted. And we can act like Thanos did anything to Odin other then get smacked around by the All Father. Surely Thanos was winning and would've as much, if winning meant doing nothing to phase Odin while getting a beat down in return.

What Odin said is hyperbole. Proof? Odin beat the shit out of Thanos. In return Thanos couldn't even phase him. Ergo, Odin crushed him in that fight. Who cares what Odin stated? Odin kicked his ass. Thanos didn't kick Odin's ass even once.
Scans speak for themselves. Was Thanos having a hard time, yes but was he defeated no. Everyone who says he was are just haters.
How can something so obvious carry on like this for so long?
Definition of defeat from dictionary .com:
de·feat   /dɪˈfit/ Show Spelled[dih-feet] Show IPA
verb (used with object)
1. to overcome in a contest, election, battle, etc.; prevail over; vanquish: They defeated the enemy. She defeated her brother at tennis.
1. To overcome in a contest - doesn't appy because the contest was interrupted.
2. To prevail over - Thanos was standing face to face with Odin with cosmic energy emitting from his fists so this doesn't apply.
3. To vanquish - This most certainly doesn't apply. No need for explnation on this one.
It's not hard at all.
What happened with actual Thanos on panel>>>>>>>>>what a clone thinks.

According to Quan, Thanos could have turned the tide of the battle whenever he wanted to and owned the living hell out of Odin...lol!
😂

Let me asked you something, wheN did Thanos even phase Odin?
Here's the time Odin phase Thanos.
- Back handed Thanos off away after no-selling Thanos' own punch.
- Blasted Thanos straight into the castle after Thanos claimed he was going to triumph over Odin
- The impact of their power struggle over Gungnir left Thanos trashed on the ground and struggling to stand up. Odin was on his feet, no phased at all. And this was still in Asgard, not a struggle across space and wrecking the cosmos stuff like Odin did against the Enchanter Forsung that left Forsung dead.
Please point to where Thanos even phase him? You're just hiding behind defintions of defeat. Please tell how Thanos would've faired any better then the ass whooping he was receiving. Go ahead and try to claim Odin didn't technically defeat him. It doesn't change the fact that Odin kicked his ass and lookEd far superior doing so than most who've fought the Titan.
You know, you win. All of you. Odin never defeated Thanos; he just severely kicked his ass. And it was written by Starlin. Never forget.

So how come Thanos looks like shit at the end of the fight compared to when it just started? I count Thanos getting battered 3 times into the ground by Odin. I count none for Odin getting knocked away by Thanos.
All you have to do is explain how Thanos ended up knocked away, under rubbles, and face down struggling to get up. Was it the cosmic breeze of the season in Asgard? Shit happens I guess. Blame the wind.

In other words, Odin kicked Thanos'. There was technically no defeat but Odin was kicking his ass. I count this toward the list of people who've kicked Thanos' ass.
Odin <========||
Galactus
Tyrant
Walker
Drax
Peter Quill w/ CC
Afro-Magus

To defeat someone you have to have one of these two things happen:
Either you beat your opponent to a pulp where there is a ko or tapout, or your opponent admits verbally he gives up and can't take anymore. NEITHER ONE HAPPENED!

So in essence Tyrant never defeated Thanos either. Thanos claimed victory and walked away. But atleast there's agreement that both kicked Thanos' ass throughout their fight, but they just technically never defeated Thanos. I got you. In conclusion, Odin did kick Thanos' ass.

No Tyrant didn't defeat Thanos because Thanos ended the fight before he got ko'ed, taped out or had to actually admit defeat. Had it continued though he would've died. In both circumstances it was going downhill for him but the fights were inconclusive. The victory Thanos was talking about was the orb and being able to last as long as he did.

Odin : Do you yield?
Thanos : NO!
How the f--k does that jibe with what the clone said?

Either way both kicked his ass.

Odin kicks his ass.
Odin kicks his ass.
Odin kicks his ass.
Odin on his feet stops his assault: Do you yield?
Thanos struggles to his feet looking like shit: No!
Brb inerrupts the ass kicking Odin was delivering.
Thanos still looks like shit.
Clone's memory of the fight, that particular writer's view, Odin defeated him. Saying no and asking for a continued ass kicking means what? Technically it wasn't a defeat but the clone and written felt it was a defeat with the one-sided punishment Odin was giving.
Oh snap Odin technically didn't defeat him, he only One-sidedly kicked his ass like Thanos was a child. You have such a strong case goin for you.

Doesn't make a difference, no one is arguing that Odin wasn't in charge of that fight. The clone's statement "You beat me once" was straight up wrong as the scans show.
